Today I have another beautiful dress to show you. An embroidered dress. I also received this dress from azllee, just like this one from last week. I can’t remember the last time I wore anything embroidered. Maybe as a child? I really do not know. Couldn’t find any pictures with anything embroidered on either.
Anyway, I’m wearing it today! This dress is really great! I think it’s so beautiful! I have ordered an L of these while I always have an M. But I don’t like clothes that are too tight. It’s a little too wide at the neckline, but it doesn’t bother me. For the rest the sizing is good as a M.
Black embroidered dress
What I also really like about the dress is that it has green in it. That makes it so easy to wear green sandals, accessories, jacket or cardigan with this embroidered dress. I just love it when a color comes back in an outfit. And after black, green is my favourite colour. Although here I really only wore green espadrilles as green.
I’m wearing it with a shell bracelet and a cute flower ring and flower earrings that are made of clay. Which is fantastic because they are very light. I don’t wear the espadrilles that often, no idea why not. When I did, with this dress, I loved them and they are so easy to walk on.

I put the black faux leather jacket in the container immediately after taking the photos. I had the jacket for years but when I sat down after the shoot, I saw that I was covered with flakes. The jacket was crumbling a bit. Such a shame as this was such a perfect jacket. Well, everything comes to an end. When I look back on my blog I see that I wear a lot of black this summer. You know that I love to wear black, but in summertime I love to wear colour too. I should look for something embroidered in pink!!
Has it got something to do with my mental state? That could well be. I’ve had quite a rough six months with three hospital admissions. Twice to replace the valves in my lung and once because of a collapsed lung. I myself have the feeling that I am much more stuffy(such a weird word to me, but it’s translatet like this) now and I am panting and I am completely out of breath more often. Sometimes it feels like I’m in a nightmare.
I work so hard to take care of myself as best I can, and then all of a sudden I am a lot more stuffy and it doesn’t get any better. I will see how it develops for a while and if I don’t start to feel more positive then I ask for help. It is already difficult to deal with this disease as it is. I’m not going to make it any harder. Well, I’ll make this a fun read for you! Haha, but this is me too! Anyway, I wish you a very nice weekend. I’m going to enjoy a festival weekend with friends! Btw I forgot, the sunnies are green too!

I’m really loving this dress, Nancy, and yes, the green in it would have been a selling point for me too.
Not sure if I’ve got many embroidered items in my wardrobe, but I did buy a red embroidered skirt last Summer.

I love this dress! You wear black so well, it seems to drain me now. I went to wear a faux leather jacket a few weeks ago and found it was flaking and looked awful. Such a shame as it was a great little jacket. I hope your health continues to improve, it must be very difficult.

Thanks Michelle! I am having a phone call on Wednesday with the doctor. Hope that he will say, you just need a reset with some antibiotics and then all will be fine.
I like embroidery on clothes, but this dress is too bohemian for my personal taste. It looks great on you – very cute with the espadrilles too. Love the jacket, shame about it disintegrating – look for real leather next time! It will last decades!

Embroidery is so fun! It seems to be so trendy right now too. I hope you have fun at the festival. I have asthma as do my teens and it is a struggle when you can’t breath properly. I was cleaning downstairs where I hadn’t cleaned in awhile and it really got my asthma going for 2 days (even after my meds!)! It was not fun. So, I’m sure it is a struggle for you. I think taking care of yourself the best you can is something you can control and like you said, yes, just keep an eye on it and hopefully you’ll feel less stuffy (and have less trips to the hospital). Praying for you, friend!
