Well I have been looking for a nice tweed skirt all winter! Or actually I have been looking for it for a few years. And when did I find one? In spring! It doesn’t matter because this tweed is not that thick winter tweed that I was actually looking for. But a nice thin fabric and a beautiful color.
Spring tweed skirt
I love lilac but I don’t have to wear this color in my face because then I look like I’m having a terrible hangover. Not that I know anything about it because I never drink too much! No really not! (but I can appreciate a good Espresso Martini!) I like to wear pencil skirts and this one fits nicely. I always have the problem with Zara that size 38 is a bit too tight for me and size 40 is way too big. Anyway, I will have to exercise the belly extra (or wear a correction slip) ((it will be a correction slip!)).

The sandals are also new. I had said in this post that those sandals could be thrown away after the shoot because the strap had broken. Fortunately I found these, also multi-colored with red and pink. And also from my favorite brand Tamaris. A trendy graphic tee on the skirt makes it look less formal. Great spring colors together. I actually bought a multi-colored cardigan with this skirt that looked fabulous on it. But I didn’t have any tee in a matching color( you know me, match matchy). I am sure I will find a few. So you’ll probably see this skirt again!
We are going on a vacation to the UK next week. For the first time in my blogging career I will not post posts during my vacation. Because I think it is a waste of my time and effort to publish a post that I cannot give the necessary attention to. And I don’t really want to be busy with my blog on holiday. Another post is scheduled for May 28. The linkup will continue to run extra next week, so you can just continue to linkup your new posts!
I would really appreciate it if you would share my outfit on Pinterest! Just hoover over the photo!
My favorite of last week is: Amy of Amy’s Creative Pursuits
