It’s the first Monday of the month and that means another episode of Stylish Mondays. The theme this month is wearing green!
Stylish Monday is created out of a Facebook group of Life and Style bloggers. Every month we interpret a theme in our own way, fashionable wise of course. It’s a fun way to be creative with fashion! And to see how other women interpret a theme chosen by someone else. It is a nice fashionable way to create something beautiful with other bloggers. Take a look at how I styled the color green.
Do I actually have something for wearing green?
It seems so easy. Wear something green! Oh yes, of course I have something in green. I mean, I love green. My interior is white and the accents are green, I almost always use a green eye pencil, my bicycle is green. Yes, green is not an issue at all. Until I went into my closet to see what I would wear for this theme. Huh, no green skirt and no green dress! The only green dress I had was this one, and I don’t like that one at all! Oh dear.
My only green trousers
Fortunately I had recently bought these trousers, pre loved! Since it was already such a great spring day, mid-February, I wanted to add bright colors. To get completely into the spring mood. I love pink and red together. In addition, I do have pink shoes, but they are all peeptoes and I badly needed a pedicure. So I choose my red ankle boots and my bright pink blazer.
How I wear green
I wear olive green earrings, a pink beaded bracelet, a gift from my mother-in-law. And the beaded necklaces from Brighton. My mother-in-law often buys beaded bracelets at the Friday market here in the village. There is a woman who makes the bracelets herself, also on order. Very nice. The trousers have nice embroidered details. Never thought I would like that! The top has green blue and pink in it, whitch fits perfectly with the trousers and the blazer.
I am very happy with this wearing green look. It looks cheerful, relaxed and stylish. I also wore the trousers with a long black cardigan and my patent black sneakers. I bought white patent sneakers that would look fabulous too! Can’t wait to wear them!
And now do visit my fellow Stylish Monday fashionistas to see how they wear green!
And you can show yourself in the Stylish Monday linkup and meet other bloggers! It would be very nice, and very much appreciated to leave a comment and to be supportive!
This is a fabulous look, Nancy! I just bought a pair of olive pants like this, and this is great inspiration! Have a fabulous week!

Nancy,
I love how you wore your red booties with your pink jacket.
So many people are afraid to wear pink and red together when they are the same color family!
Fabulous look my friend!

I’d have no problem at all wearing green as it’s my favourite colour! I love it with a bit of red or pink, like you did here. xxx

I love it too, but my closet hasn’t got that much green! Very surprising to me!
Oh Nancy, I love this outfit. Those cargo pants are fabulous with such beautiful detail. I adore how you added the red and pink to this neutral outfit. You really have such a good eye for color and detail.
