Today I am wearing monochrome green with a wonderfully knitted dress and sturdy boots.
*Ad. These boots are part of a collaboration. I was allowed to choose boots of my choice by De Schoenenfabriek.
Friday is always my cleaning day, which means that I usually wear leggings and a sweater. But tomorrow friends come over for dinner and I am already preparing something. We love to have people over for dinner. Or like to play a board game like last Saturday. Then we played colonists from Cartan with friends.
I would like to take a moment to introduce you to my sweet blogger friend Ada of Elegance and Mommyhood. This elegant, Albanian fashion blogger and I have two things in common. Our early discovered love for shoes and we both worked in fashion. Ada is the mother of todler Vivian who also regular poses on her blog. Get to know Ada, as she is a very sweet and supportive person. And very fashionable of course!
Monochrome green with cool boots
This suede boot has a robust heel, which makes it look cool. And you can wear it two ways. Folded over so that you see the golden application. But you can also turn them all the way back and you will get a more casual look. The color is beautifully green and there is no zipper. That can sometimes be a problem. Not with these boots, the size is perfect. It takes no effort to put them on.
Monochrome in knitted green dress
I love knitted dresses. Nowadays with a corrective slip underneath, because knitwear is not very forgiving. But it feels good and it always looks good with boots, and I love my boots! I try to not wear tights for as long as I can, because I really hate them. But I afraid I can’t go with bare legs any longer. It was already so cold now! I am wearing two green necklaces and green earrings and a beautiful green cardigan. I love these kind of cardigans as they can add so much to a outfit, color wise. But oeps, blue nail polish!! Yes, I know. Let me explain. I have acryl nails with gel nail polish, so the color stays on for four weeks. And I wore a blue dress to a wedding. So I wanted the nails to match the dress for the wedding okay? And it was also very windy during this shoot!
Would really appreciate it if you would share my outfit on Pinterest! Just hoover over the photo!
I would love it if you could follow me on Instagram!

Pinned! I love everything about this outfit; the colour, the silhouette and the boots! And the blue nail polish contrasts really well with the green to my eye. Lise

We used to have dinner parties a lot, before we had kids, but not any more (which is a shame). Those boots are really cute. I like the star detailing on them.

Thank you Nancy for the feature! It made my morning! Love those boots! an army green and the little design on the side looks fun to wear. I am a green fan and could actually start looking for an olive or rich pine green sweater. I love the different shades of green youve chosen and the jumper style on you.
Have a great weekend!

Thanks Jacqui! Enjoy strictly!
As I love green, I can only approve of your all-green outfit. I’m loving the knitted dress and those amazing boots which can be worn in two ways. I’ve been wearing nude tights since a week or two, but today I wore my first pair of opaques of the season. Much too cold and wet to go bare-legged. I’ll be checking out Ada’s blog, thanks for the introduction. xxx

Yes it is to cold now, I wore this outfit again last week with green hose! Loved it even better!
I love this monochrome green look on you. The dress fits you like a glove and the green cardi is perfect with it. The boots are fabulous too. You look so gorgeous in this! Very feminine and chic styling.
My cleaning day is usually Saturday. 🙂 I like to keep a cleaning schedule, it helps a lot!
Author
I like a scedule too. And a clean house! Thanks Ivana!
All that green looks fantastic. And I love the mis-match of blue nails, it’s a bit confidently quirky. But mostly I love the way you’re hair is in the wind, and that you have kept your curls. The piece-de-resistance.
Author
Haha, yes I have very thick curly hair! Thanks!
I love the proportions of this outfit, and the boots really make it—how cool (and versatile) that you can wear them two different ways!

Thanks , would love to see that!
Lovely shades of green and I especially love that dress with the buttons down the side!
I just finished a photoshoot with leggings for my next post, like you, I wear them around the house (and for my dance classes).

I love this outfit Nancy! The muted green shades are gorgeous. The buttons on the dress are a lovely detail and those boots are fabulous! I think your blue nails look great with the green – I like to have a contrasting colour on my nails.

Thanks Emma, I am more of the matchy matchy haha.
This has to be my dream outfit. Green, green and green. I like the way you wore your necklaces in the one of the top photos where the strands are separated rather than laying on top of each other. My longer necklace always lasso my breasts!!
Those boots are so dressy full length and so fun when they are cuffed. Would love a pair! They have a great military feel to me.
Author
Thanks Leslie! My breasts aren’t big enough to lasso with! Lol!
I really like this look! So perfect for fall, and perfect on you!
xoxo Claudia
Echt een supergave look! Het is mooi hoe je de zachtere tinten groen heb gecombineerd!
