Paperbag leather trousers, or faux leather like mine because I don’t want to buy real leather anymore. I know real leather would look much better, but I can’t justify that to myself. So faux leather paperbag trousers are a huge trend. I had said to myself that I would no longer buy faux leather, or at least not that much. Because I can’t sit on our white leather sofa at home in faux leather clothing, that gives off and you can’t get it off anymore. But this trend is really another one that has grown on me. And I thought, well spring is coming so I will sit more outside then in…… excuses, excuses….

What are paperbag trousers
What exactly are paperbag trousers? The trousers have a paperbag waist. Imagine squeezing a paper bag with two hands. Et voila, the paperbag waist. They are high-waisted trousers, or skirt or even shorts. I love high-waisted trousers and skirts. And especially with sneakers. I can also wear a nice ankle boot with it, because I just love ankle boots. But sneakers are more modern and trendy and I am also becoming more and more completely mad about wearing sneakers,
Like the beige trousers, these are incredibly soft. The inside is so soft that it feels like wearing pajamas. Although I never wear pajamas so I don’t know what it actually feels like…
How I wear my faux leather trousers
To get a bit of contrast in the outfit I wear a silk blouse. Well, a silk blouse is not very warm and as you can imagine it is very cold here. So put on my favorite cardigan. These are also trousers that I will wear a lot in the spring with a white t shirt and white sneakers! Am already excited. As jewelry I wear my favorite ring from Lewes and a few simple bracelets and creoles.
By the way, these are the earrings that go perfectly with the bracelet that I showed you last week. I saw fantastic green faux leather paperbag trousers at Asos the other day. I fell in love and wanted to order it, can’t! On the Dutch Asos site they are not available. I think that is a sign….

I like the idea of these trousers in Spring with a white Tee and white sneakers. They look fabulous on you, unfortunately for me as a short-waisted person, paper bag anything looks awful on me.

What a fun pair of pants! I like that they are gathered at the bottom! I think that is the problem I have with my pair , it is a wide leg pair of paperwaist bag and I really need something tight up top to balance it. Love these with the trainers and cardigan!

I used to hate paper bag trousers, because I thought my hips were too wide to wear them but then, last year, I decided to try them once more. And… voila! My hips aren’t too wide at all lol! We just bought paperbag waist pants for our Target collaborations and I’m still on the fence about them. I wore a pair last year and they can be styled many ways so I’m sure I’ll like them more and more. Maybe I need a faux leather pair??
