I don’t remember ever wearing beige trousers. A beige skirt I did have, but I didn’t really like that one. But I saw these trousers at Zara a few months ago and thought, let’s just give it a try. By the way, do you know what is super useful? We always have the groceries delivered and nowadays you can hand in parcels from shops that you want to return to the grocery service. How convenient is that! I can also give them the packages I sell. Super easy.
Are beige trousers boring?
Back to these beige wide legged trousers. Firstly, they really feel so soft, if you feel them at all. I can hardly tell I am wearing trousers. And the trousers do not crease very much. It is also perfect at the waist, not too high and not too low. Trousers that are too low irritate me immensely. I wear these beige wide trousers here with padded sneakers. Also from Zara and they are also very comfortable!
To lift the casual look of the sneakers a bit, I wear a blazer with a brooch on it. And to break the whole outfit, but keep the relaxed look, I wear a Breton stripe sweater underneath. I think there is nothing boring at all with these beige trousers.
Trying out beige trousers

I think this is a great outfit. And I really love to wear these trousers. I think I will also wear them in spring a lot with white sneakers and a crispy white blouse. Although that might not be a good idea as bright white is not my color is it Pamela? I like my wardrobe so much better since Pamela helped me! Found my own style back and that feels great.
I experimented a lot with colors and styles over the last two years and it was fun, and I really think that it’s a good thing to step out your comfort zone. But I am happy with my own style, darker colors and quite simple pieces and not a lot of accessories. That is the way I like to dress and feel totally myself. And that is what fashion and clothes are about! To make you feel good!

Love the whole outfit. The sneakers are so fun! I never met a striped shirt that I didn’t like!
Author
I like striped tees or sweaters a lot too. I guess because the colors together appeal to me! Well, this one is only black and white…..lol.
I haven’t worn beige trousers in years. I like the breton shirt with it and that little belt! It balances the look quit nicely. I have enjoyed my closet tremendously lately and probably should shop for a couple of months.

Nancy, I absolutely love this outfit and would wear it in a heartbeat! I got a pair of high-waisted khaki trousers recently too, and I’ve been surprised by how comfortable and flattering they are. They’re so classic and versatile too. Welcome to the beige trousers club đŸ˜‰

Thanks so much for the linky party, Nancy!
I love your outfit – it’s so very chic and classy, with a Parisian flair (the striped top). I am NOT a beige fan at all, so I would only do these trousers in a colour (like my pink Big Lady Boss Pants, for example!). I love the shape of them.
Author
Ye we are opposites color wise! Thanks Sheila!
I love the masculine vibe those pants add to your outfit! Have a great weekend Nancy!

Thanks Laura!
You look fantastic in this. Great idea to pair these pants with sneakers. I agree with you on the low cut pants, I dislike them immensely. I was so relieved when they stopped trending. I prefer medium rise or high rise pants and skirts.
I have a similar paints of wide leg beige pants and I love them. I painted them with fabric paints so now they also have a bit of red in them.

Oh that will look great too I think! Thanks Ivana!

White is to cold for me, I need warmer colors like off white. Although I do wear white in summer sometimes when I have a teint!
