Brown Knit Dress & Fancy Friday linkup

brown knit dress

And of course a brown knit dress could not be missed in my wardrobe this season. I have already told you here about my love for brown clothing And I don’t mean beige or other cool colors. By the way, I behaved well when buying this dress. I’ve had it in Zara’s shopping cart since late October and decided I wouldn’t buy it until it went on sale. Talking about buying new clothes consciously!

My brother-in-law would say: ask yourself, do I really need it? Well, brother-in-law, do you really need your Porshe, I replied. But that turned out to be a fuck you car. Yeah, my clothes are just my fuck you clothes….. Let’s keep it tidy, lol.

Brown knit dress with benefits.

brown knit dress

This brown knit dress is of course absolutely perfect for when you go out for dinner (going out to dinner? What is that again?) The knotted detail on the belly part hides perfectly if you have eaten too much. What I still sometimes suffer from, I just love to eat. Anyway…..

There always has to be a knitted dress in my wardrobe for the colder months. They are so comfortable and easy to wear and not to forget so warm. Although this is a thinner knit dress. But it still feels warm enough for me.

How I style a brown dress.

taupe ankle boots

I like to wear this brown dress with casual boots. Also wore it with tall leather boots with a heel but I like it best more casual. A knit dress don’t need much to shine in my eyes. The knotted detail is enough interest for me, I like a simple style. And the color does the trick to. Very minimalistic but I love it this way. Just some golden earrings that I got from Gerben at Christmas, a few golden rings and my watch. Love this dress!

The color of this dress is so perfect on you! The knit material looks so soft. And the fit! I like when dresses hide areas when we have indulged too much!

Nancy, brown is one of those underestimated colors that can really look fabulous. You look gorgeous in this beautiful knit dress. The twisted at the waist is a wonderful detail. And what a lovely surprise to see that you selected my post from last week as your favorite. I’m so honored.

love this dress on you Nancy, the waist detail makes it too! I laughed when you had the convo with your brother about his Porche. My mom would also say that I don’t NEED any more clothes! LOL. Well really we go live with 2 shirts and 2 pairs of pants, but how fun would that be?

Well, I can see why you needed this dress! You are gorgeous in it! And, that waist knot is really a cool detail. I do love a good knit dress, but find I have to layer over or under to stay warm. I do ask myself if I need something…the answer is rarely yes! Thanks so much for the link up!

Such a pretty brown. Almost reads terra cotta and such a flattering fit. Check out your board flat stomach, too. Wow!! I like the dress paired casually, too, but I am sure the heeled, taller boots looked lovely as well.

Those are lovely earrings, Nancy! I love a sweater dress – it’s hard to tell the colour accurately as you’re in direct sunlight. It almost looks pink to me here.

Thanks so much for the link-party! I saw your note about a Zoom call and I’ll email you tonight. ๐Ÿ™‚
