Since I buy pre loved clothing, I often come across clothes that I have already had. I’ll explain.
I can honestly say I love pre loved now!
When I buy my pre loved clothes I do that online. At a site that sells everything, and therefore has a huge amount of choice. With the clothing you can search by brand and I often look at the brand I have worked with. When I worked for that company, I was a branch manager in one of the stores and I got a 50% discount on clothing.( this post is not sponsored, I just wanted to give you a impression) So you understand that a lot was taken home every week. When unpacking the new collections it was always ah and oh how beautiful! This dress was also one of them. Then, ten years ago, I also styled it with gray.
How I wore this pre loved dress then
We, the ones who worked in the stores, had to wear clothes from the store every day. So in the morning it was always changing first and in the evening again in our own clothing. This of course with the intention of generating even more sales. I then wore this dress a lot and also bought it myself, with a gray short military look jacket and gray leggings underneath and a purple and red flower corsage. yes indeed, the ones that I also wear here.This set sold out very quickly!
And I wear it the same again now
So I saw the dress again on that site and I knew I wanted it again, because I wore mine to pieces! Such beautiful colors! And to be a bit nostalgic, I add gray again. What I actually also think is the most beautiful match, because this is how the colors of the dress come out perfectly. The jacket is also of the same brand and also about that old. I still had that one, and I have had the shoes for years too. I actually don’t wear them often, but every time I wear them I wonder why not. They are so comfortable and I really like them!
I know that a lot of you think two huge flower pins are to much….but I love it! And I bought the rings a few weeks ago on a food truck festival. I bought 3 pink rings for €4,50. Bargain right!

Oh, this must feel like running into a long, lost friend. I can think of two or three dresses I had that I would love to have again. Not sure they would fit, so would like to find them in my size now. I remember when my mom finally let me shop a little boutique in high school or freshman year of college. I bought this 2 piece vest and skirt that was so unique. Have never seen anything like it since. Would love to find it again!
As always, you took a lovely piece and made it even lovelier. That brooch is fabulous!! You really know how to put together a complete ensemble.
