My search for a tweed skirt has come to a end! Finally found a perfect one. Well, that is not entirely true, because a tweed skirt by Chanel would be the perfect one for me.
I had this tweed skirt before!
I have shared with you that I think tweed is such a beautiful fabric to wear in winter. But I always struggle to find anything of tweed at all. I think it’s because I have exactly in mind what kind of color and style I want for my tweed skirt. I actually wanted a green/brown English country style bit frumpy one. Can you picture it? But I found this nice tweed skirt. In fact, I’ve had it before.
So this is a pre loved one. And from the brand that I worked for. Just like this lovely two piece. And when this skirt came into the collection in 2010, I bought it. I wore this skirt so often that I had to throw it away after two winters. So funny that I now find it online again. And super cheap, I paid € 9 for it.
How I am wearing my lovely skirt
This tweed skirt is really perfect for me. I love all skirts, except real short ones, but if there is some sort of petticoat with it, or lot’s of layers, then it’s got my heart. The brand I worked for at that time, designed many of these skirts, often with multiple layers. I was completely thrilled when I first stepped into,,my,, store. Surrounded by all these fabulous clothing! And wearing them every working day! I was in heaven, you can understand that can’t you!
It comes to no surprise that I love to style this skirt with black. It must be very boring for you, but it is what it is girls. I am wearing my over the knee boots, these are not fine because they drop. Gold colored loops which are my favorite earrings and the pearl necklace with a fur cat. But I threw away the cat now because it got all dirty over the years because I am touching it the hole time when I am wearing this one. A v-neck (yes, I can remember that I need to wear v-necks now!) knitted sweater and that’s all it takes!
