Well have you ever seen me wearing this style? Palazzo trousers? I thought it was surprising! Because I told you so many times that I am not so fond of the wide legged trousers. I will not say again that I actually do not like trousers, because I wear them a little too often lately. Don’t you just like this one?
Palazzo trousers, I finally get that trend
These are so-called palazzo trousers. What are palazzo trousers I might hear you think? I actually heard myself say it. I just looked it up! Palazzo trousers are long, smooth-fitting trousers with extra wide legs. You already knew this for a long time of course. I usually lag behind the fact, or the trend, or I am way ahead. For example in my twenties I would wear something that no one else wore. A lot of people then would say to me: what are you wearing? And a year later it was a trend! And then I didn’t like it anymore.
The only way I love to wear these palazzo trousers
The palazzo trousers have been a big trend in 2018 and they still continued in 2019. And now I like it! The blouse is also something I would never wear. Well I love the ruffles, but white or off white? Not so much. Not in my face anyway. But I knew straight away when I bought these trousers that I had to wear a white ruffled blouse and white sneakers with it.
Luckely I already had the sneakers and these palazzo trousers and the blouse were both on sale! Such luck. We say in Dutch: you will walk under a train of luck one day.

I keep admiring the palazzo trousers, but I haven’t taken the plunge to try them. Being 5’2”. I am not sure they would look good on me. But they look super nice on you! Stylish yet comfortable. It’s a great look on you!

Nancy, I love that Dutch saying “you will walk under a train of luck one day”! And these palazzo pants looks so great on you. I have a few pairs of wide legged comfortable pants that I don’t wear often but have been wearing a few times a week lately! I am very much like you when it comes to style choices…I am either way ahead of a trend or way behind it. I never seem to be right in tune with it! I guess that’s what makes us special, my friend!

Wide-legged trousers are such a classic look, and I actually prefer them. If I wear trousers at all, it’s got to be wide-legged ones. I bought several pairs in the charity shops last year, but usually only wear them for travelling. xxx
