Oh my God! Not jeans again! I have bought two pairs of jeans! But before you fall off your chair, I’m selling my other ones! Not that you think I’ll have 6 pairs of jeans right now. No, that would be to weird. But these are really perfect! Yes, I even bought two of the same. Okay, different colors though. And really retro too, eighties! Totally my thing(I mean look at my hair…)
Can’t believe I bought jeans again
Because you all know that I am not even a fan of jeans. Although I love my old denim jacket and denim skirt. When do you say denim and when jeans? And why do my American friends lose the s in jeans? Can you explane it please, I just want to know. Anyway….. but I guess it’s all got to do with finding the perfect pair right! And how they do make you feel. And they are kind of practical, although I hate practical. But I cycle a lot, not just for fun but also if I have yo go somewhere that is not to far. Because distances aren’t huge here. And jeans are perfect for cycling.
My perfect jeans
This style of this jeans is perfect for me. They give me a bit more body( I can use that) and I just looove cropped trousers. These are the same design. And in the eighties I wore them too. I’m really kind of in love with these jeans. I prefer to wear them with a heel, like this perfect ankle boot you saw here for the first time. And what do you think of my blouse. Lovely print, kind a 70’s, and with a bow, that always makes me happy.
With these jeans I prefer to wear a nice slobber sweater with sneakers or a top with a blazer and heels. With a few golden accessories. I am wearing a lot of decades here, blouse 70s print, jeans 80s design, blazer pre loved from the 00s. I still hope I come across as a bit modern at the least…….
Here are my other jeans that I am going to sell now because they were not really me. Flared ones, cropped darker ones and cropped lighter ones.
I would really appreciate it if you would follow me on Instagram.

I know you love a blazer! And for me it is a good way to make the jeans more feminine!
Yay for another pair of jeans but you made me laugh when you said you were selling your other ones. I adore this look Nancy! The blouse is a wonderful print and loving the booties. I have no idea why we say denim and then jeans. English is weird sometimes. Thanks for the link up!

I love to see you in Jeans! This is such a cute look. I love your top. I don’t know what you mean by “my American friends lose the ‘s’ in jeans”. We say the ‘s’ in the word ‘jeans’. The only time we leave the ‘s’ out is when referring to something else that is made of denim material like a ‘jean jacket’.

Ah perhaps that it is Amy! Thank you for explaining! And thank you for your comment!
Love your whole decade hopping outfit, Nancy! The jeans look great on you, and I love the 70’s style geometric print bow blouse with them. I agree, it is hard to locate that perfect pair of jeans, but once found, they are so versatile in your wardrobe. Thanks for the link up and have a good weekend!
While I think you look amazing in all of the jeans you’ve shared, these do have your particular flair. This is an amazing look! Love the retro styling. I’m not sure why some Americans would lose the s on jeans, because I don’t unless I’m using it as an adjective like “jean fabric.” I’m sorry I’m no help.

Yes you are Michelle! Thank you for your comment!
They really do fit your style well! I also use the s in jeans and use the word the same as denim. I think saying denim is more of a recent things and the only time I would lose the s was if i used it to talk about the fabric like ” jean jacket”.

Yes, that’s how most use it. I always thought they just forgot the s……
I’m glad to read that you’ve found the perfect style of jeans for you. I love how you paired the jeans with that fabulous blouse and heeled ankle boots, creating the perfect balance between casual and dressed up. I too am a sucker for a pussy bow blouse and the retro style is totally up my street. Regarding jeans and denim, I would use “jeans” for the trousers, and “denim” for the fabric, as in denim skirt or denim jacket! Wishing you a lovely weekend without too much rain … xxx

Thank you very much Ann! It’s dry and sunny but damn cold!
Nancy, 6 pairs of jeans is nothing—I own upwards of 20! But I will say, they’re the most worn items in my entire wardrobe, so totally worth it in my opinion!

Hahha, and I get rid of 4 of them Cheryl! Shelbee just commented she has 58!
These jeans really suit you and I love how you’ve styled them with the boots and fabulous 70s style blouse. I really like the lighter pair you’re going to sell too. I have so many pairs of jeans but I don’t wear them often these days.

No I can’t remember when I have seen you in jeans!
I just love that you have grown to (sorta) love jeans now. I always think it’s good to have many different tools in our toolbox, and they have an advantage over dresses at times,

They do, especially when going to cycle or to the forrest. I don’t think I would wear them when going out for dinner. Yet!
Those jeans look great on you!! I tend to use denim interchaingably with jean… as in my jean jacket but if I’m talking about a pair of denim pants I definitely call them jeans with an s on the end for sure.
Author
Okay, that’s the difference! I never understood it! Thanks Joanne!
Hurrah, Nancy! You look fabulous in jeans so I’m glad you found ones you really like! And, that retro blouse is pretty dang cool, too! Thanks for the link party!

Thank you very much! Have a good weekend!
Sorry I am late this week! We were getting buried in snow. I spent two hours shoveling yesterday because the snowblower broke and by the time I finished clearing my driveway and sidewalks, there was a fresh 6 inches of snow so I had to start all over again! It finally has stopped snowing but we got about 3 feet of it. Anyway, I love this jeans outfit on you! So cute! That blouse is extraordinary, too! What a great print. I think I mentioned to you that I am starting to dislike jeans right as you are starting to love them! So funny. I currently have 58 pairs though so I definitely can get rid of a few dozen pairs!
Also, thanks for the feature this week! That was a lovely surprise!

Nancy, you look great in jeans! I have too many and now I cant wear them now anyhow, due to this condition! So Ilve vicariously through you! I like the lighter wash and love the looser fit! The blouse is also lovely with it and the boots are the perfect look with the pointed toe.
Have a great week!

What have you done with Nancy? Who is this woman in jeans? Kidding aside, you look awesomely badass in this outfit, Nancy. Love the classic boyfriend cut jeans and that fun vintage-inspired blouse.
