Yes I know, it’s hard to believe but I did indeed buy a new pair of jeans! A cropped flared jeans! I got rid of the old one. Two pairs of jeans is a bit too much for me. Lol. Do I see your eyebrows frown there? I am not at all fond of jeans. Yes on others I usually think they look cool and sexy. But when I wear it myself I completely change into a gray mouse. I think that is because people here, read the East of the Netherlands, wear jeans for convenience. Nice and easy. I don’t like easy.
Happy with my cropped flared jeans
So although I don’t like jeans, except for these, you call them a denim culotte instead of jeans, I do find it useful to have one. I have had this one for years and it is now going away. But when I go cycling, it is just useful to wear jeans. But I don’t like long pants, so it had to be cropped one. And I am not at all into flared trousers, but I really like this one. And I must also honestly say that it feels good to wear these cropped flared jeans.
How to style these cropped jeans
These cropped flared jeans have a slightly higher waist and very stretchy. I wear a simple off white sweater and a beautiful blazer with sharp shoulder pads. Because I do work out a lot, the sleeves are a bit tight in my upper arms. And yes, I also wear a scarf once! Paisley print in warm brown tones. I do think that I can’t wear sneakers under these jeans, that kind of dulls your legs. Even platform sneakers did. And now I wear suede boots with a block heel. And statement gold earrings. I have to be careful not to like these jeans a little too much ….. There goes my reputation!

I am like you – I don’t really have jeans. I find them too boring and bland most of the time. I can’t even remember when I last wore them. I did attempt this short, flared cut of trousers, but they don’t suit me, so gone!
