I hate it when my laptop gives me more trouble then pleasure. For something that normally cost me five minutes, took 45 minutes last Saturday! Tell you more later in the post.
For the first four days of the past week, I didn’t do much other than working out and blogging. Oh yes, and returning parcels. Didn’t find a perfect floral dress yet, but there is no hurry as the weather is still much to cold. The temperatures here are more winter then spring. And we are almost in May already!
What did I do last week

Monday evening I had a Teams meeting with the ladies of the lung point. We organize meetings for lung patients. But we haven’t done that for a year now. We are going to see if there is interest in a digital coffee table. Nice to do! I also had such a nice phone call with the supplier of my wheelchair, NOT! My battery is broken and it has been gone for repair for five weeks now. And I had such an annoying person on the phone, not normal. She had no idea what I was talking about because she wouldn’t let me finish any sentence. How I hate that.
Lucky I got someone else on the phone because with that person I got no further. But it will probably take weeks before I get the battery back. Actually, if you have to depend on a company it is worthless. What a service they have nowadays, not normally that bad.
Laptop trouble

- Friday night we had shoarma, with all the trimmings.

- Totally in love with lilac and pink lately.
In the weekend on Saturday I worked out and we took some outfit photos. Gerben was working outside the house all day. I still had to do something on the laptop, but that was also a drama, so much trouble with my old laptop at the moment. I ordered a new one at the beginning of January, but it has been on the road for 3 months. Or on a ship to be exact. I don’t know what it is. The problem is that a chip takes such a long time to come from China. And in the meantime mine is so incredibly slow, it drives me crazy. It takes fifteen minutes before I get it to start up and then everything goes so slowly.
So annoying. Annoying isn’t even the good word for it. I can get so angry sometimes and frustrated that I want to throw the hole damn laptop to the ground! Haha, which I don’t of course. I will have to phone the guy from the shop again that I really need a solution! But I am holding my breath, companies and I aren’t the best team lately.
We really made it a lazy day on Sunday. Watched the Grand Prix in the afternoon! Yeah Max! And in the evening we got a takeaway. I was also not quite well over the weekend. I don’t know what I’ve been having lately, but I don’t feel okay more often than I do. Will have to take it easy this week and hope it will pass. It feels a bit like a long dirge here on Throwback Tuesday! Sorry, but that’s what my life looks like at the moment. Have a good week!

I cannot believe your wheelchair battery has taken so long to get replaced and that you are still waiting! That is completely unacceptable, how dare they! Laptop trouble is no fun either, I am sorry things have been so frustrating lately. I hope things turn around soon!

I absolutely abhor technological hitches, especially as I don’t know the first thing about technology. I still find it a miracle that I managed to start my blog! How horrible about your wheelchair being gone for repairs for such a long time! And people not treating you nice on the phone really is a no-no!
On the other hand, your pre-loved Zara dress is gorgeous, and looks absolutely amazing on you. And how absolutely delightful to have an owl visit your garden! xxx

No we dot hear it yet, but when the evenings get warmer , and we sit outside more, we will here him and see him on the hunt for mice. Last year there was a nest, hopefully this year too!
What an awful week for you – health, laptop , battery. It’s hard to understand how companies with poor customer service can survive these days! Loving your lilac skirt. Hope next week will be better- at least the weather is slowly improving

That Laura Ingalls dress is SO pretty! I hope you kick whatever is making you feel yucky soon! I had my Covid shot and felt a little off for a few days after I got it and then I came down with a cold that I’m just now recovering from. SO, I am hoping next week is a lot more productive for me. Oh, I hate laptop issues!! My husband is pretty much my IT person, thankfully he knows how to fix most things!
