It doesn’t feel good to be all dressed up and nowhere to go! I miss, like everyone else, my friends, my family, going out for dinner and drinks. But I love to dress up, and I will continue to do that!

I am all dressed up and have nowhere to go!
So for this post I am showing a gorgeous dress that I received from Chambres. The dress could not be more perfect for this month’s theme. I almost never wear maxi dresses, however I do like them. Perhaps it’s because I never found a good one. Oh I just remember that I bought this one last year. And I like this one, but it’s more a dress for at home or at the beach. So I could wear this dress when we would go out for dinner or when we would have a party. But we don’t and we haven’t!
Dressing up, but for who?
So for now, and the next following months, I will wear this dress on warm summer evenings. Sitting outside in our lounge set, my view on our pool, inflatable lol, a pastel colored cocktail in my hand , in the hope that Gerben sees how good I look! Hahaha, oh a girl can dream right!
What am I wearing all dressed up?
A burnt orange satin maxi dress. Gorgeous color especially if you’re skin is already a bit sun kissed. I have styled it in a bit more casual way with blue, and a more formal outfit in black. I love the cobalt blazer on that orange!
The dresses from Chambres started out as a slip dresses for under formal dresses. But the fit was so good that they made them into lounge wear. They are not lined. That means that you really have to wear shape wear underneath. I am wearing a shape wear slip and a underskirt, but I think I better wore a under dress and no knickers…..but that’s not my cup of tea…..
But the dress is really gorgeous and the fit is Perfect! I feel very good in it, it swirls around your body! So it’s not to bad to be all dressed up and have nowhere to go!

That orange satin maxi dress is absolutely gorgeous and it looks fabulous on you. I love it especially worn with that electric blue blazer.
