Remember when I bought a retro look dress a while ago. And that I really didn’t like it at all? I did wear it only with for that shoot and never again.
I really like the retro style, but this dress didn’t suit me at all. Just too short, or maybe the colors. I don’t know but I didn’t feel myself in it at all. Now I show you a retro look dress again, but I feel very good in this one. And what the difference is, I don’t know. Probably because it is slightly longer. This retro look dress is second-hand and is from King Louie, a brand of which I buy many pre-loved dresses. Great fit, excellent quality and beautiful prints and colors. This is not a sponsored post, if only. I’m just a fan of this brand.
Why is this a retro look dress
The print appealed to me the most, somewhat psychedelically. You know, when you have a mushroom to many…..just kidding, I really wouldn’t know! But you probably understand what kind of print I mean. Well that psychedelic comes from the 70s and that is retro again. Going back to a certain time to design new, for example, fashion. That is what we call retro.
How I wear my retro look dress
It was a no brainer to wear this dress with a long cardigan and well fitted boots. That, for me, gives this look a 70s feel. A long necklace to break the print a bit and a few plastic brown bracelets. These dresses are so easy to wear, so stretchy and so easy to style. And the fit is so perfect. Love to wear it with sandals too. That is the only downside of summer, that I can’t wear boots!
I would really appreciate it if you would share my outfit on Pinterest! Just hoover over the photo!
