I don’t do affiliate links, google adds and links to my outfits. Can’t be bothered with it. I am not a money making blogger. But I do love fun collaborations. I don’t do that often either, really only if I’m actually going to use or wear the product myself. So when Tantilly asked about collaborations on Facebook, I immediately responded because I think it’s a great brand! I also received a positive response very quickly and of course came the best part: choosing a beautiful dress!
Tantilly silk wrap dress
The wonderful thing about this kind of collaboration is that it feels like you’re getting a present! Writing a blog post is something I love to do and taking photos is also fun. Although the result is never good enough for me. But I’m just not in my twenties, I don’t have a natural flair for posing, I don’t have a professional photographer, let alone a professional camera. I am an almost 55 year old woman with a passion for fashion and my blog, and totally being myself! And that should be good enough.
But because I love to do all that for the blog it doesn’t feel like you have to write or take photos. And that’s why it feels like a present when a lovely collaboration pops up!
Silky Tantilly wrap dress in blue and brown
Back to the dress because that’s what it’s all about! Tantilly is a Dutch company that designs almost everything itself. Inspired by flowers and retro prints. They have listened perfectly to the wishes of their customers by creating dresses that are not too tight on the tummy area and often slightly longer at the back, which I love very much. The clothes are colorful and of great fabrics and quality. They also design larger sizes even custom made. This is a company with the right social attitude. As they support local craftsmen by letting their clothes not only be made in the Netherlands, but also in Fair Fashion workshops in several countries.
My chosen dress is made of 70% silk and feels so wonderful. The colors are a beautiful combination of blue and brown. I can also wear these as a kimono with jeans! Or as a long jacket. With a top over it, it can be worn as a skirt. So many options with a wrap dress! Take a look at the Tantilly site or visit the physical store in Deventer! Which is, by the way, a very lovely place to spend a day shopping!
Thanks Tantilly for this lovely collaboration!
I was featured in this dress at Links a La Mode. Together with some fabulous women. Please take a look!
