Sometimes you can find those gems at the H&M. Like this printed wrap dress. Well you might think, isn’t that a bit exaggerated? It’s just H&M he! Yes, I know that, but gems don’t always have to be expensive and exclusive. Years and years ago, but really a long time ago, something like 30 years ago. Gosh, that’s just about half a human life, if you’re out of luck….. If you are very unlucky even a whole life.
Well, where does that suddenly come from? We were talking about clothes! Anyway, back then I immediately loved the tiny shop they opened in Arnhem, because they were selling very different and original clothing. I was a fan for years and often bought there. As I grew older I often found their collections to be so basic and even boring and only bought lingerie there. Well, I still don’t like the collections in the summer. Too basic, too boring, too smooth. But often I can get excited in the fall and winter. Like this set, of which I am totally a fan, but what about this dress? A faux wrap dress in colors that I almost never wear, but I think it’s beautiful.
You know I love printed wrap dresses!
The most adorable wrap dress for me, of course, are the Diane von Furstenberg dresses. I have three pre loved ones by her design. You can admire them here and here. I always think wrap dresses are so feminine and I love to wear boots under a dress. And these dresses are perfect for wearing boots underneath. This printed wrap dress is also super nice to wear with a cardigan over it. But on this day it was still very spontaneously warm, at the end of September, and I could just wear it with bare legs and without a jacket or cardigan. This was a lovely bargain. So you see, it doesn’t always have to be expensive to look stylish.Would really appreciate it if you would share my outfit on Pinterest! Just hoover over the photo!
