Spring is here, and with it comes more sunshine, warmer temperatures, blooming flowers, and, most importantly, fashion! Style in bloom as you can say.Whether you’re a fan of floral or love a bold, monochromatic look, there are loads of new fashion trends you can incorporate into your wardrobe to steal the show and take your style to a whole new level. Here are some of the best fashion trends I’m looking forward to in spring 2021!
*This is a guest post. I was not paid to publish it!
Style in bloom with mini skirts/dresses
Shed those extra layers, and let your skin breathe a little. Whether you opt for a plaid mini skirt or cute shift dress, this is a great way to ring in the new season. Let your legs see some sunlight while you’re enjoying more outdoor activities! Pair your mini skirt with cute, white sneakers and your favorite graphic t-shirt, and you’ve got a spring break look that is both chic and comfortable.
Simple maxi dresses
Not interested in showing off too much skin? Long maxi dresses are also in this year, and the simpler you go, the better. And what is a better style in bloom then a maxi dress. Think breathable fabrics with basic silhouettes. You can dress this look up or down, depending upon how you accessorize it. Choose a stylish belt bag or opt for a simple clutch to keep things classic. From a cute brunch date with the girls to a day of running errands, this look is easy to transform and make your own with a bold shoe or stunning necklaces.
Style in bloom with a bold shoulder
Try giving a bold shoulder, or anything but the cold shoulder this year! Puffy sleeves and shoulder pads add great dimension to your outfit. If you like a more tailored look, opt for shoulder pads to create a sleek, edgy appearance that’s sure to draw some attention. Or go for a feminie puffy sleeve to inspire your whimsical side and showcase your unique personality. If you go for dramatic shoulders, be sure to style these bold tops with delicate jewelry and simple pieces to accentuate the bold shoulder and not distract.
Wide-legged pants
Okay, so many people love skinny jeans, but wide leg trousers and jeans are making a comeback. Whether you’re purchasing your favorite denim styles or looking for a pair of sleek trousers, a wide-legged pant is the way to go. This style elongates the leg and can easily be dressed up or down. Plus, you get extra props if you decide to style this look with fringe leather jackets, adorable bracelets, or any other trending styles right now!
Metallics
I know. Metallics seem like more of a winter holiday look, right? Not this year! You can enjoy your favorite silver pants this spring or wear those dresses with metallic details. It’s all about how you style these pieces though. Choose simple jewelry and sleek silhouettes. Pair your metallic jeans with a cute black top, or pair that dress with muted shoes and a minimalist ring or necklace.
In all things, let your personality shine! Whether you like fun and flirty or bold and edgy, your style is unique to you, and there’s nothing more “in” than being true to yourself.
