Every woman faces the problem of what to wear today. Sometimes it seems to you that despite the full wardrobe, you have nothing to wear. You look at your wardrobe and think to yourself that you wear the same things every day. You need to change your outfit and you are missing just one new piece of clothing. Your pink shirt doesn’t go with anything and you wonder what you bought it for. And many of your jeans have already faded from wearing. This is torture for every woman.
*This is a guest post. I was not paid for it! Just some informative tips for you!
Sometimes you need to let go and combine clothes that you usually don’t. Sometimes you can be surprised with how good a combination looks even though you never imagined it would.
The tips we will give you are there to help you make some changes with your outfit and to always feel good about what you are wearing.
Don’t think too much about outfit
It may sound weird, but don’t think too much about your outfit. When it comes to clothes, there is always a solution. Someone will choose to feel comfortable rather than look good. Others will do the opposite. It of course depends on the person. But the fact is that you should not be that worried about the outfit that you will wear today, whatever the occasion.
Check your wardrobe often
You have a few pieces of clothing in your closet that you haven’t worn in months, maybe even years? Give them to someone or remove them from the closet. When you are sure that you do not like to wear something, do not let the item collect dust and take up space. Although let’s be honest, that part of the job is never easy for any woman. That is why you should take a look at everything you have in your wardrobe and, every few months, leave only what you are sure you will wear.
Always check the weather forecast
It must have happened to you at least once that you left the house in the morning in a T-shirt, and when you went back, you needed a jacket and an umbrella. For that very reason, you need to think a few steps ahead. On beautiful spring days, the sun can deceive you and even though the day is beautiful, you need to be well dressed. When you have a day planned from early morning, it is best to look at the weather forecast earlier in the evening and roughly create an image of how many layers of clothing you need to wear.
Think about the plans you have for the day
It’s not the same when you are going for coffee with a friend and when you need to go to work. Depending on the occasion, adjust the clothes you wear. You can always dress casually for things like hanging out with friends, going to town, or going to the cinema. However, for some events, you need to dress formally, such as going to work or a business meeting. In that case, it is a good choice to wear a skirt and blazer sets or pants and a shirt. All by the occasion.
Get out of your comfort zone
If your comfort zone is that you always only wear jeans and sneakers, change that. Changes are good, and fashion today is such that it is possible to make a million clothing combinations and you will look good in it. If you’ve never worn a skirt with sneakers, do it. You never know if something will look good if you don’t try it. So be adventurous when it comes to dressing up because the options are great and numerous.
Learn to choose clothes according to your shape of the body
You know your body best and what you love most about yourself. Highlight your good side. If high-waisted jeans are best for your body, buy a few more pieces. If the blue color emphasizes the color of your eyes, buy T-shirts, sweatshirts, and shirts in shades of blue. That way you will surely feel good every day in what you wear because you chose it only for you. Because not every trend is for every body type. You don’t need to panic to buy every piece of clothing you see or that is in trend. Focus on what works best for you and what makes you feel best.
Do not neglect accessories
Accessories are small details that give great depth to your outfit. A pair of earrings or necklace can significantly improve your styling. You should not overdo it with them. Sometimes a good necklace will fit in your outfit, and sometimes it will be a purse in the color of your coat. Accessories are there to complete your look and so make the most of them.
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
I’ve been learning from fashion bloggers just how much accessories can add to an outfit. That’s my focus this year. And in some ways may be the most difficult part of creating an outfit.

If I could, I would wear yoga pants and a t-shirt daily. LOL
If I had to look at everything in my wardrobe every few months, I would have to take a couple of days off every time. I do look at things and cull as I wear them, and with my twice yearly seasonal changeover. Getting rid of things just because I haven’t worn them in months or years doesn’t really work for me either, as I often rediscover things I haven’t worn in a long time and learn to love them again. Getting out of one’s comfort zone and making full use of the delights of accessories, well, that’s more like it for me 🙂 xxx
I’m always amazed at how many people don’t check the weather app on their phones before dressing for the day!
I pretty much do all of these! I sometimes make a mistake with weather but otherwise have fun getting dresses, add some accessories and variety and make sure I am comfortable.

Fun tips! I am all about the accessories. I don’t feel like I am even dressed if I don’t have accessories on!

Lovely post my dear – great tips! I usually go for comfort in every day things, looking great when going out. And, I agree 100% with getting rid of clothes you don’t wear! I switch my (and my children’s) wardrobes in Spring and Autumn in preparation for the extremes of Summer and Winter here in Maine. Sometimes at the beginning, but more often at the end of the season, before switching out to the next, I get rid of clothes that I didn’t wear through that season.
I laughed at the “check the forecast” Twice, in the last week, I’ve gone out either WAY over dressed, or WAY under for the weather *SMH* Reminding me to be a little more conscientious about the weather 😉
Thank you for sharing this post in the Wow Me Wednesday link up <3 Have a lovely day!
Nice tips Nancy, thanks so much for sharing. I tend to wear jeans all the time, better for wet weather. Hope you’re having a fun time away. x Jacqui x
