I didn’t think I loved stripes that much. But when I reorganized my closets I saw a lot of striped sweaters. Also a few dresses and skirts. I think I love stripes better then I thought. For today’s outfit I not only show you a new striped sweater, but also my beautiful winter coat , which I love a lot and new trousers. This season seems to be my trouser season. Gosh no, I don’t want to wear more trousers then skirts or dresses. But then again, they are so much warmer at the moment!
Striped sweater outfit
This sweater is from a collaboration. But I’m not going to mention the name of the company. Let me tell you why not. I was allowed to choose three items and I only received this sweater with an email saying that it had to be posted the next day and with do follow links, which we didn’t agree in previous emails. What then! Am I your dog? Bloody idiots. I emailed that that was not going to happen and that I would publish if I had the other items in. And guess what? The other items never arrived. Outrageous as some companies are!
No Bad Buys with this striped sweater!
But I am very happy with the striped sweater for which I don’t have to do anything! And what about these trousers! They are great! High waist and with a nice wide belt on it. And then my winter coat. I can never find a nice warm winter coat. A few years ago I settled for this one because I had to have one anyway. But I didn’t like it. And this one is amazing! Exactly what I want from a winter jacket. Black, wool blended, long sleeves, not to tight, pockets, simple. Pooh pooh, it has been a while since I made a bad buy! Awesome!
Often when I am writing my Friday’s post I am thinking, oh I can wear this with that. Also with this striped sweater. I am thinking, velvet pleated skirt. Heels under these trousers with a bow blouse etc. That is not interesting for you at all. So I am holding back, but I am getting all exited of how to wear these items more. Perhaps I should write it down in my calendar……

I’m sorry that the company was so awful, I am finding it harder and harder to work with some of these brands. Their expectations are not worth it, especially when they are not honest at the start. At least you got a pretty sweater – I like the colors!

It is a great sweater and coat, Nancy! I love the whole outfit and of course those boots that I die for every time I see them! I remember a few years ago I had a pair of boots from a collaboration that had a nail in the footbed that slashed my toe so badly. When I reached out to the company, they told me there was nothing they could do and I was still obligated to write my post reviewing the product. So I did! And you bet it was a terrbile review. And I never worked with that company again. Some have been dreams to work with while others have been nightmares! And you should share who the company is so the rest of us know to avoid them! I am in the South, yet I bought 2 winter coats this year on sale! I love a great Winter coat, and yours is just that. Love the length and the classic style. The colors in your sweater are loevly with the structured trousers. A great look! Too bad the company was difficult to work with!

I have never done any collaborations, but if I did, I would be exactly the same as you. It’s your blog and nobody has any say in what and when you post something. Ugh, the nerve of some of these companies—I swear, they’re getting worse and worse with their expectations. I’ve stopped accepting most product-only deals because they’re not worth the headache. That said, it’s a cute sweater!
