A while ago, Shelbee and I had the Paisley print as a theme for The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book. I only had a paisley scarf then. Have never been such a fan of this print. But I immediately liked the scarf because of the brown tones. Brown is a good color for me. And then, when I was browsing the Zara site, like a few times a week, I saw this dress. Well how coincidental is that then! As if the dress was meant for me right? Just say yes!
My first Paisley print
But I really thought this Paisley print dress was stunning! The colors are very beautiful, brown, anthracite grey and very beautiful green tones. And with the white boots it is a super easy but very nice look. I am still so in love with these boots! Although they are just a bit too high for me. It doesn’t matter, I don’t walk far distances. Here I wear the dress with a leather jacket, but I also often wear it with my black blazer.
How to style a Paisley print
I think the best way to style this paisley dress is to combine it with basic colors. To let the dress and the print stand out. You could wear a jacket or cardigan in one of the colors of the dress, I tried it. I wore a brown blazer on the dress, but then I don’t know were to look at. At the blazer or the dress. And then both don’t come out good.
So I choose for basic colors. And not the same, tried that too but that is to boring. For example, if I would wear black boots under the dress. Can you imagine it, boring. Now the dress is the highlight of the outfit. The only accessories I am wearing are huge golden loops and a white ring. The waist is a bit to high for my liking, but it’s elastic so it’s not really a problem. Can’t wait to wear this dress with sneakers too!

Paisley is one of my favorite prints. I often doodle pictures of paisleys. They are so intricate and each one is different. Like snowflakes!
