Paisley? Oeps. I only had a scarf with that print, which I show you today. But if you know me a bit, I never let, if I don’t have something, that bother me. Lol. And yes, I found such a gorgeous dress with this beautiful paisley print! I am showing it for now on Shelbee’s blog and you will see it on mine very soon!
Shelbee of Shelbee On the Edge and myself started this series after we had hosted The Bad Buy Book for a year. Now we are ready for a new challenge! Every 15th of the month we show our Good Buy or Good-Bye item. And we want you to join!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book about?
It is a collage of outfits! You can choose yourself whether you want to show a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye ( which is an item you are going to say good bye to). We will keep buying a Bad Buy from now and then, you know, it was so cheap, you were in a hurry and really wanted(needed) to buy something etc. But of course we also have those purchases that can make us so very happy. A piece of clothing that you have had for years and that you also wear a lot. Or something you bought on a holiday, and every time you wear it you get that holiday feeling back. Every month you can choose which item you want to send in. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide a theme for each month!
So let’s start with The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Paisley print!
First my dear blogging friend and co-host Shelbee of Shelbee on the Edge
This pink paisley dress is a great buy. I bought it at Target 3 or 4 years ago and I have found it to be very versatile as a dress or as a tunic. I love the colors and of course paisley print as well.
Here is Anna of Looking Fabulous at Fifty
My paisley dress was a very good buy. I bought it quite a few years ago but still wear it a lot as it is very comfortable.
Beautiful Jess of Elegantly Dressed and Stylish
Ann Taylor sweater in green paisley I have had for awhile.
I had to mix it with plaid!
Lovely Jodie of Jodie’s Touch of Style
I don’t even think I have any paisley, but Lesley does. She has this wonderful kimono that she wore here with a column of black.
Jacqui of Mummabstylish
I adore wearing paisley and have this blouse from H & M that gets lots of wear. Here I’ve paired it with grey wide leg trousers, beads and my aztec jacket.
Darling Michelle of My Bijou Life
Here is my paisley submission. These leggings were definitely a good buy. So pretty and soft. And only $5.00
Lovely Laura of I Do deClaire
This paisley jumpsuit was a bit too small and made me self-conscious. I tend to think of paisley as being a dressy print so with everything so casual lately, I donated it when I needed extra room in my closet. Good-bye!
And finally my Paisley print!
I never liked a Paisley print that much but these colors appealed to me a lot! And now I also have a Paisley dress! Why I never liked it? No idea! The scarf is a very Good Buy!
January’s theme will be: Monochrome looks!
And now hop over to Shelbee’s blog to see what the other fashion bloggers are wearing!
Send your photo with a few sentences if it is a Good Buy or a Good-Bye and we will put you in the spotlights! Send it please before the 10th of each month to shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com or to info@nancysfashionstyle.com
By joining The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book, you agree to receive a monthly reminder email for next month!
Would really appreciate it if you would share my photos on Pinterest.

Thanks I am really happy with it!
I love your scarf! The print usually doesn’t appeal much to me which is probably why I don’t have any in my closet but some of these are really pretty! Amazing how the print is really everywhere, in different colors and styles.

Indeed! If you recognize it you see it everywhere!
There’s no lack of Paisley print in my wardrobe, but a scarf is already a good start! The dress is fabulous, by the way, I hopped over to Shelbee’s blog as I couldn’t wait to see it 🙂 xxx P.S. I hope you are well and not to bothered about the lockdown …

Oh Ann, our country is full of fools really! A lot of shops are already open because they sell ,,essential,, stuff! It’s so very very stupid! The only thing I am bummed about is that I had a hairdresser and nail stylist appointment and both were very very necessary!
I love paisley and all these pieces are so nice! I just remembered that I DO have a cool sweater with paisley on the back! Darn. Maybe next month.
Happy holidays, Nancy!
