Hello dear readers. I just wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas today. I hope everyone can celebrate a little with family or friends, or both of course. And that you will have a good and cozy time. Even in these strange times where we, here in the Netherlands, are in lockdown again. Christmas is to celebrate! And to appreciate what we have, and I don’t mean that in a materialistic way.
So, are you ready for today? Or is it a busy day with cooking and preparing fabulous dinners? I always love to cook with more people, preferably like how it goes at my brother in law’s place, the men prepare dinner, the women just chat and drink wine! Sadly not this year because of the lockdown.

I want to thank you so much for reading my blog, commenting with sweet words or participating in the monthly series. You know I really appreciate that, but I just wanted to say it. Go enjoy, let’s look forward to a new year, look at the bright sides of life! Sometimes you may have to look for them, but they are always there!
Gerben and I will spend today just the two of us. We had planned to spend it with my family in law but that would be to many people. We will have a relaxed breakfast with unwrapping our presents and will enjoy a festive homemade dinner in the evening. On the second Christmas day, yes we have that in the Netherlands, my father and his wife and my sister and her partner will join us! Looking forward to that!
So again, have a fabulous Christmas and just enjoy!

Merry Christmas (a couple of days late), Nancy! I hope you were able to celebrate with lots of loved ones. Two of my kids were able to come with grandkids. We will have Second Christmas in a week or so with my oldest and his family. Lots of calories were consumed!! Thank you so much for the way you’ve supported my blog and for hosting link ups.
