I wish you all a very Merry Christmas. With a lot of fun, good food and being together with friends and/or family. I am looking forward to it and I hope you do too. I feel very relaxed as I only have to make some salads today and then I can relax and enjoy some Glühwein. We are going to spend this day at my brother in law’s house with the rest of the in laws.
In the Netherlands we also have a second Christmas day and then my father and his wife will be having dinner at our place. We will have fondue! Easy and delicious and fun to do!
Enjoy Christmas time
You hear a lot of people about the obligatory Christmas, but I never understood that. It is wonderful to be together, to eat together, to chat, to get dressed up and to dress nicely. Or maybe you just enjoy being at home, put on something comfortable and enjoying a good book or watching the series on TV that you have wanted to watch for so long. Whatever you do today, make sure you enjoy this time of the year. Also the people who are struggling. Try to see the sun shining somewhere.

For those who are bored on a day like today: Visit my Fancy Friday linkup party. Meet other bloggers and put your own blog or Instagram account in the spotlight. Or take a few photos of yourself in your favorite sweater or one that you are about to throw away. And send it to me for The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book series. This way you get through the day, lol. What a lovely card, Nancy! I hope you’ve had wonderful Christmas days, isn’t it great to have two? I suppose the 26th is an official holiday in the Netherlands? It isn’t here in Belgium, but I always have the time off until after New Year. I always look forward to these holidays, even if I’m not a big fan of the consumerism surrounding Christmas. We usually celebrat by having a quiet time with just the two of us. xxx
