How to make a style statement by wearing a sweater

This season necessitates layers and you are always wearing jackets, coats, shirts, scarves, socks, and more until you start sweating. The only favorable exception is the opportunity to flaunt a cozy sweater. This works well as a standalone weapon for handling unpredictable weather. Even though the winter runaway season has explored all-new silhouettes, some sweaters never lose their charm and never seem to go out of fashion. Sweaters are regarded as the chameleons of fashion. You can wear the same sweater again and again but each time it would look different and create a new look when worn alone or nicely paired with a button-up shirt.

But first start to wear the right brabralette under a cardigan

We know that nothing would be ruining the great feeling of wearing a cozy sweater like an ill-fitting and uncomfortable bra. There is a broad spectrum of bras that are just perfect for different sweaters. The first step in identifying the right bra for the sweater you are planning to wear is finding out your right size. You may browse through Babeappeal and use the bra size calculator to find out the accurate measurements. This is surely the most effective way of ensuring you are getting a perfect size and fit so that you won’t be fidgeting all day. Let us explore some of the hot favorite sweaters that are always in vogue.

The exclusive & exotic stylish cashmere sweater

An elegant and exotic cashmere sweater is regarded as the most versatile warm outfit in your wardrobe. A fashionable woman’s wardrobe must-have, cashmere sweaters are capable of making any outfit chic and sophisticated. Cashmere is unbelievably cozy and comfortable so you do not have to suffer just because you wish to look beautiful.

Cashmere is supposed to be a fancy name for the finest goat hair in the world. Some top brands source their cashmere from even Inner Mongolia known for its harsh weather that helps goats in growing undercoats of soft and long hair. This sort of fine quality goat hair is just right for the exclusive and cozy cashmere turtleneck sweaters. We are told by experts that a single goat would be producing just a few ounces of hair that make it a real luxury.

If you are heading for a job interview, you may consider skipping the formal suit and instead opting for a chic cashmere sweater with a nice pencil skirt and match the outfit with ballet flats. You would be looking sophisticated and all set to focus on your interview. Make that style statement! You could wear your cozy cashmere sweater for a special night out either to a dinner party, or a theatre, or a work event. Cashmere jewel neck sweater with sophisticated pants is superb for such special night outs. You may try teaming your cashmere sweaters with Annabelle Bralette. You could make a fashion statement by trying the textured and edgy bra under your delicate cashmere sweater. This would create a super cool look and deviate from the typical or conventional look.

Pullover Sweaters as a style statementcol sweater as a style statement

The most loved and classic sweater style would be the pullovers. These are great for a typical change of season and they are very much in demand right from fall to winter. These are flexible tops and are available in the market in a broad spectrum of knits and materials. You could wear pullovers in lighter materials such as linen and cotton while the cashmere and woolen sweaters could help in keeping you warm and cozy on cooler days.

V-Neck pullovers are very stylishV neck sweater

The V-dip would be exposing some additional inches of upper chest and collarbones creating the illusion of having a longer silhouette and neck. You may opt for the semi-fitted and straight type of a pullover for covering your hips. You may alternatively choose the longer thigh-grazing tunic-type pullover. Both these pullover types come with side vents for creating contemporary ease and look. Neutral colors of gray, navy, camel, and charcoal are supposed to be the most charming. You could wear a balconette bra under your V-neck pullover to look stunning.

Sweater Tunicssweaters

Sweater tunics are quite cool and could up your style quotient when teamed with jeans or leggings. They feel quite cozy and warm when worn on frosty winter days and nights. They are great and act as a warm hug. You could wear it over another top such as a tank top, T-shirt, etc. and create a chic layered look.

You could look chic if you team your sweater tunic with the lounge bra that is supposed to be silky smooth. This is a seamless bra offering flexible underwire cups. Loose sweater tunics look great with bold and stunning options such as upper-slim-cut jeans and leather leggings. You could look dashing in other attention-grabbing winter favorites including statement jewelry and tall boots. Racerback bras are a good match with sweater tunics. You may wear a Racerback bra with a sweater that has a scoop back even if you are having large breasts.

Cardiganscardigans as a style statement

The best part about wearing cardigan sweaters is that you could easily slip them off and on whenever you want. It is a perfect choice for seasonal-change. It is quite cozy to wear a cardigan when you are shifting from one place to another that has diverse thermostat settings. Cardigans come in a broad spectrum of knits and fabrics and a wide array of designs and styles right from flowing wraps to preppy button-up types or the knit blazer type with a tailored or customized look.

As per this post, you could wrap yourself a super-soft cardigan that feels buttery to touch. Wear it with your favorite jeans and a t-shirt for casual outings. Alternatively, you could wear them over your pajamas while watching television.

Make a style statement with a cardigan twinset

The simple but smart cardigan was taken to the icon status thanks to Jackie O. The cardigan twinset has gained phenomenal popularity and is still going strong thanks to the crew neckline, button front, and the complementary short-sleeve shirt.

The ‘classic cardigan twinset’ comprises two separate pieces, the short-sleeve shirt, and the cardigan shell. When these two separate pieces are worn together, they end up creating a visually-unified and clean look. You could obtain an elevated appearance because of the cardigan’s layering effect.

We can of course all make a style statement with sweaters because we all wear them in our own unique way! Being ourselves is a style statement on his own!

It seems like wearing the right bra is so key to pulling off a good look with a sweater. I have a feeling a lot of women think it doesn’t matter but honestly it matters almost as much as wearing the right bra with a t-shirt. Knits can be clingy!

It does! And I see a lot of women wearing a total wrong bra. Such a pity!

What a good point to start with the bra! Especially as we age. I’m a big cardigan fan as my temperature fluctuates a lot! Ha!

You’re so right about wearing the right bra, as it can make all the difference in so many ways! I have to confess that I do not often wear sweaters/jumpers these days, preferring layering. Need to combat those hot flushes 😉 But there are a lot of really beautiful jumpers out there, in all kinds of styles, so I’m a bit wistful that I can’t really wear them. I wore one to a flea market last week, and that was fine as it was really cold, but when I wore the same jumper to work, I was simply boiling. Oh, well. xxx

Sweaters are totally my thing. Even here where it’s warmer…the mornings are cool. That’s why I started knitting in the first place. I just love them.

Yes I wear them a lot now too and there are so many lovely colors and prints to find. But self knitted ones are the best!

I do love my sweaters! Probably because we have such long cold winters where I live. I remember back when I was a teenager, sweaters were really expensive and it was quite the luxury to own even a few. These days, however, I have sweaters of every sort that probably number in the hundreds. Such a great post for all sweater lovers!

With all that snow there you need sweaters! But I am wearing them a lot too this season!

Bras are the key to most clothes looking better, IMO. I love sweaters, but have learned over time that due to my big bust and small frame, that many sweaters will be too bulky on me. For me, they have to be a fine knit, fitting fairly close to the body. If I want to wear a bulky sweater (because sometimes I do!), it has to be cropped or have a fitted waistband, and have a wide neck or shorter sleeves.

It’s good if you know how to wear it at the best. I see many women here that wear wrong bras. Such a shame.
