A very happy new year to you all. That it may be a happy and healthy year. Like I said here, I never look back. But I want to show you what I wore during the holidays. And what we ate. Although those photos are not really great. I am a very bad photographer. In fact, I am not a photographer at all.
Recently my outfit photos are not the nicest, I am afraid. The sun shines very little here and if it shines it is not on the moment we want to, and can, take pictures. So I apologize for that, I hope we have some sun again soon.
What I wore on Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, the 24th, what I wore is this glittery jumpsuit with red ankle boots. You can see here how I wore it last summer. I like it personally better with sneakers. But this jumpsuit is really great. Super stretch and no buttons or zipper, ideal for a jumpsuit. We ate pulled beef with stewed pears and a Brussels sprout quiche. It was delicious!
Tulle skirt with polka dots and lace
- At the dinner table
- Gerben and I
- made the salads
On Christmas Day I wore my new tulle skirt with polka dots. I already had such a skirt but there was a hole in it so it needed to be replaced. Just love this kind of dramatic punk-like skirts. On the skirt I wore a lace top and my leather bolero and the gun metal ankle boots. Received a 9.5 from my brother-in-law for the outfit.(why not a 10, haha) We ate ham, roulade, salads, potato croquettes and ice cream of course. It is always nice to be with the hole family together!
What I wore on Boxing day
Boxing Day I wore the dress that is now a skirt. With a light cardigan and ankle boots with studded bow. We ate fondue with my father and his wife. The table is still bare, but it was very full a little later! We had lot’s of wine and coffee with Tia Maria!
They were pleasant days and also very relaxed. I normally tend to plan these days with things to do and to go. But we wanted to have a relaxed week and do nothing special just enjoy some time without having to rush!
And now we start again with healthy eating, less drinking and regularity. I am ready for that!
Would really appreciate it if you would share my photos on Pinterest.

Nancy I have to say my fav is the jumpsuit followed by the Boxing day look. All fab though and it’s good to look back and record it as they are teal life looks.
Funny that we didnt wear what we had thought we might in our match 7 party post.

I did! I wore the jumpsuit and the tulle skirt!
I agree that winter isn’t the best time of year to take outfit photos! I usually have to limit myself to the weekends in winter. Lack of daylight is my biggest problem, as I only get home after dark. I’m loving your three festive outfits, and although I have a soft spot for your jumpsuit, my favourite is the one with the tulle skirt. Definitely a 10/10 outfit! xxx
