A very happy new year to you all. That it may be a happy and healthy year. Like I said here, I never look back. But I want to show you what I wore during the holidays. And what we ate. Although those photos are not really great. I am a very bad photographer. In fact, I am not a photographer at all.
Recently my outfit photos are not the nicest, I am afraid. The sun shines very little here and if it shines it is not on the moment we want to, and can, take pictures. So I apologize for that, I hope we have some sun again soon.
What I wore on Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve, the 24th, what I wore is this glittery jumpsuit with red ankle boots. You can see here how I wore it last summer. I like it personally better with sneakers. But this jumpsuit is really great. Super stretch and no buttons or zipper, ideal for a jumpsuit. We ate pulled beef with stewed pears and a Brussels sprout quiche. It was delicious!
Tulle skirt with polka dots and lace
On Christmas Day I wore my new tulle skirt with polka dots. I already had such a skirt but there was a hole in it so it needed to be replaced. Just love this kind of dramatic punk-like skirts. On the skirt I wore a lace top and my leather bolero and the gun metal ankle boots. Received a 9.5 from my brother-in-law for the outfit.(why not a 10, haha) We ate ham, roulade, salads, potato croquettes and ice cream of course. It is always nice to be with the hole family together!
What I wore on Boxing day
Boxing Day I wore the dress that is now a skirt. With a light cardigan and ankle boots with studded bow. We ate fondue with my father and his wife. The table is still bare, but it was very full a little later! We had lot’s of wine and coffee with Tia Maria!
They were pleasant days and also very relaxed. I normally tend to plan these days with things to do and to go. But we wanted to have a relaxed week and do nothing special just enjoy some time without having to rush!
And now we start again with healthy eating, less drinking and regularity. I am ready for that!
Would really appreciate it if you would share my photos on Pinterest.
I would love it if you could follow me on Instagram!

Happy new year!! Three sensational looks and some scrumptious food. Obviously, your brother-in-law has excellent taste in fashion. But I agree, why not a perfect 10 on that darling tulle skirt outfit?
Haha, I will mention it to him! Thanks Leslie!
I love all three outfits Nancy. Glad you had a lovely time too. I wore the new years post jacket with cream trousers in the end, Happy new year xx
Good choice Laurie! But I don’t think you ever make wrong choices!
All 3 of your outfits are fabulous! I will give you a 10 for the tulle skirt with polka dots and lace! Sounds like a wonderful time. Happy 2020!
Take a peek at Traffic Jam weekend. You are featured. 🙂

I will repeat it once again: I love all of your skirts!
Hahaha, I have a new one!
That sparkly jumpsuit came together so nicely with the red boots. One can never truly go wrong with a tulle skirt ☺️. I am ready to get back to some routine too. Here is to a fabulous 2020.
Happy 2020 love!
I enjoyed reading your menu and seeing some of the items. Everything looks and sounds delicious! I forgot to pull out my tulle skirt, although, I would have wanted to wear red with it.
Haha, but it is always a god time to wear tulle!
Nancy, I love all of your holiday outfits especially the sparkly jumpsuit with the red accessories. You look amazing. And so does all the food! You and Gerben are quite talented with those salad presentations! Well done. Happy New Year!
I love that tulle skirt – it’s divine xxx
I know you love it! Whink!

Thank you very much Elise!
Hi Nancy and Happy New Year!
I Love that jumpsuit on you! sounds perfect too, no buttons or zippers! Looks great with the red boots! The food sounds delish, we ate well too during the holidays! Pretty tulle skirt, they are the perfect look on you!
Thank you very much Jess!
Nancy I have to say my fav is the jumpsuit followed by the Boxing day look. All fab though and it’s good to look back and record it as they are teal life looks.
Funny that we didnt wear what we had thought we might in our match 7 party post.
I did! I wore the jumpsuit and the tulle skirt!
I agree that winter isn’t the best time of year to take outfit photos! I usually have to limit myself to the weekends in winter. Lack of daylight is my biggest problem, as I only get home after dark. I’m loving your three festive outfits, and although I have a soft spot for your jumpsuit, my favourite is the one with the tulle skirt. Definitely a 10/10 outfit! xxx
Thank you very much Ann!
You looked wonderful for Christmas!
I forgot about Boxing Day!
I love how you restyled the sparkly jumper that you wore last summer for Christmas Eve!
It was perfect with those fabulous Christmas red booties!
I love seeing what other people serve for holiday dinners!
Happy New Year and I look forward to seeing you again on Monday!
Thank you very much Robin! Till Monday!
That jumpsuit is sensational and the red boots give it an added wow factor.

Nancy, you restyled that jumpsuit beautifully. I love it with your red boots. I love all your boots! I’m glad you had a restful holiday. Ours was pretty easy, too, this year and it was so nice to not be rushed going all over the place. Oh, and that white kitchen!! Gorgeous!
Thank you very much Darlene! Everything is white in our house!
Fab outfits, Nancy – you know my fave is that dotted tulle skirt (very much like the one I wore for New Year’s Eve!). I think we are both punk girls at heart!
