Sometimes you have a piece of clothing that you rediscover from your wardrobe. One of those items that you like, but aren’t crazy about. For example, because it doesn’t fit you well. And then one day you put it on again and suddenly you love it. That is the case with this denim skirt. And the fun fact is that it totally feels like I bought something new! Now that is what I call a bargain!
Rediscovering my denim skirt from my wardrobe
You may have noticed that I like to hang in my pockets. It looks stupid, I know, but that’s just what I do. Life is hard enough already! Luckely these pockets aren’t wide enough to hang in. But what was wrong with this skirt that I didn’t like to wear it? It is a bit too tight and the slit is very high. But when I rediscovered it again, I actually thought the split was just right. And the skirt is not too tight but precisely fitted. There is no stretch in it so that takes some getting used to. But I actually fell in love again with this skirt.
And with the sweater in this beautiful colour, I really like this outfit. I told you a few weeks ago that I never wore sweaters because of the sporty feel they give me. But I have two now and they are my favourites to wear this season. They are so soft and warm! What a discovery! Lol.
Rediscovering feels like new
I have had the boots for so very long. And I still think they are very beautiful. They are also comfortable and quite warm. It’s funny that you can rediscover a piece of clothing by simply wearing the right thing with it. I often wear the same thing together, precisely because I think it looks best. But it is of course much more fun to try out what works and what doesn’t with a particular piece of clothing. It almost feels like you are wearing something new.
And this way you learn much better what suits you and what doesn’t. No, I said that wrong. What makes you feel good and what doesn’t. I remain a matchy matchy girl and wear a blue belt, bracelet and blue and brown earrings. The matchy thing works well for me. The calmer an outfit is, the better I feel about it. The beautiful sweater, which is also nicely warm, was from a collaboration and showed you here.

It’s such fun when you rediscover old items, isn’t it?! The skirt looks great on you and I love it with the sporty sweater and boots. I’m still not a denim skirt kinda girl though, I just find them too uncomfortable!

I really love this! That sweatshirt is perfect with the denim skirt and it fits you perfectly! I am a fan of the split in front for denim skirts: makes it modern. That snow was weeks ago actually and it didn’t llast long. But it has been cold in January!
