I had a lot of Instagram fun last week, well fun…. I have to learn a lot. As usual, Monday started last week with working out, doing the laundry and blogging. In the evening I had a meeting, virtually of course, and since I hadn’t taken it easy during the day, I was already tired before the meeting started. And that meeting also took two hours! On Tuesday I rained wet twice again on the way to the gym. I am almost starting to get used it … not!
Having fun with Instagram
On Wednesday I experimented with Instagram Reels. Now is the time to learn things anyway. I have to say that I only now and then have moments that I have more time for those kinds of things. But editing reels and videos is not my thing. I really like it, but I am not good at it. But I will buy a tripod to make better photos and videos. Nice furbishing. On Thursday I arrived dry at the gym for a change.
And the treadmill did not work. Hey yuck, that’s exactly what I’m really pushing myself for! In the evening another virtual meeting. Friday my cleaning day. You know by now that I love my Friday evenings. Clean house, weekend, and coffee with Tia Maria. And we received delicious chocolates from Gerben’s work.
What I did in the weekend
Gerben had to work on Saturday. Before he left, he went to the bakery, which opens at 7 a.m., and when I got up there were two fresh croissants waiting for me for breakfast! Who needs Valentine day when you have a Gerben! LOL. Then I worked out and blogged. Because Gerben is off on Monday and I don’t want to spend half the day on the laptop. Normally I don’t blog in the weekend.
I received my new skincare package. The cream I used after the hormone cream against the rash is only protective. So I had been looking for a good facial care line for weeks. I am curious. There is also a whole build-up schedule. Also on Saturday morning I discovered that faux leather trousers, that I had put in the basket at About You, were discounted. Due not to think, just order. Life is to short, by those clothes! On Sunday we just could not do anything because of the snow. Blogged a lot and worked out.

By the way, on Instagram I host the #nancysfashionstyle. I would love if you could share your outfits there. On Friday evening I feature some of those outfits in my stories. On the Fancy Friday night!
Would really appreciate it if you would share my photos on Pinterest.
I would love it if you could follow me on Instagram!
Those yellow booties are absolutely fabulous! You’ve got a wonderful partner in Gerben.
Haha, that is so sweet! Yes I do!
You’ve been busy, Nancy. I love your green+yellow outfit a lot. The boots are fabulous. It was sweet of your husband to take care of your breakfast, I love this kind of gestures from the man. 🙂
Thanks Anna, yes he does that kind of things often! He is very giving!
We’re getting even more snow today… I am so over the snow. Love all your outfits and that chocolate looks amazing.
Oh me too! I hate it! Lol.
You had a busy week! Reels and videos are difficult to edit and not my thing either. Actually I stink at the whole IG thing!
You don’t! Your feed does look very good!
I feel the same way about Reelz. It’s hard. Love all these looks and those chocolates look so good.
They were good!!! And finished! Lol.
I’m not good with techie stuff, so reels and videos and all that aren’t something I’m going to try. I don’t even do stories on Instagram as even that is beyond me!
I’m loving your yellow and grey try-out, and those delicious looking chocolates are a just reward for cleaning the house!
How lovely to have croissants waiting for you! I do hope the skincare range you ordered works out well! xxx
Yes I hope so too Ann. I now have a scheme for building up the skin care products. But It’s making my skin look even worse as I don’t use the creme every day. But hey, I have no where to go anyway!
I’m in awe of those sunny yellow booties! Amazing!
Le Stylo Rouge
Life IS short and you should buy the clothes that make you happy!!!
I love both of the yellow grey outfit combinations. Of course, I do have a thing for yellow, LOL
And I never wear yellow, accept for the boots which I adore!
I love how you styled the Pantone Colors! Who said that color combo had to be boring? I would love to get jazzier with IG, too, but I just don’t have time. I will watch how you do it!
No don’t watch me doing it Darlene, it’s not that good! Lol.
Love the yellow and grey! Those chocolates look amazing and speaking about croissants, I have a couple in the freezer I should warm up!
Haha, enjoy them!
I love your mirror selfies! Your outfits are always so original and chic. I’m with you on the Reels and videos on IG. I haven’t been active on there for awhile….not sure what I want to do with that platform right now. great post as always!
Thank you very much. I do like Instagram a lot. But learning new skills is not my thing!
That skirt with the yellow boots! Gorgeous. I love watching Reels but I have too much going on with work and blogging to learn a new thing. Good luck with the new skincare. Thanks for linking at #WowOnWednesday
Thanks Gail! I can understand that. Don’t know how you all mix working and blogging anyway!Hat of!
Yup, the yellow booties are the star here! Gerben sounds like he takes such good care of you1 Aw!!
Yes he does! Those are good ankle boots aren’t they, and I didn’t even like yellow when I bought them!
Look at you learning all the new Instagram things! I can’t do it. I hate Instagram and have been meaning to write a post about it! I am loving your outfits and those yellow booties are just so magnificent! And look at that snow, my friend! Welcome to my world. Haha. The snow is now higher than my front porch and almost to the top of my back fence and we have a storm coming tonight that is supposed to bring 14 inches (35 cm) more snow. I don’t even know where we will put it once it comes! Thanks for linking with me!
Oh my word that sounds like a horror movie to me. I am so glad the snow is slowly disappearing now and that we have spring temperatures coming weekend! Hang in there!
Your yellow boots are awesome!
I know! Lol! Thanks Rena!
