How to style lounge wear so that it doesn’t look like you just grapped was forehand, but made an effort! Now that we are at home a lot, it feels good to wear lounge wear. I did it in the beginning of Corona but at a certain point I was done with it. All nice clothes in the closet and then keep on walking around in my work out gear every day. No not for me. I like it better to just dress up. But every now and then I really like to hang around in lounge wear. But it must look good. You won’t see me in an old tee and joggers with holes on the couch.
So how to style lounge wear
For a collaboration with Katch Me I was allowed to choose some lounge wear. I chose a set with glitter, because I am under the influence of Trinny lately! Lol. And I choose joggers in a brown color of wonderfully soft fabric.
And for me lounge wear is meant to lounge in. Lying on the couch on your free evening, doing nothing and above all wearing something comfortable. But since I really liked these clothes, I wanted to wear them in a more stylish way. The glitter set comes with a crop top, but it was mainly about the trousers. I think I will no longer wear the top because cropped tops are not my thing. The trousers are really so nice. It is a high waist one but is quite firm around the belly which immediately pulls it a bit tight. Well we all want that don’t we?
I wear my platform sandals underneath and statement earrings. No matchy matchy this time. At first I wanted to wear earrings that would look better with the sandals. But I love these earrings in terms of style! So I just got over my matchy matchy thing.
Wear joggers with a heel if you want to be stylish
For the brown joggers I chose a sheer top with a blazer, heels and ocher yellow statement earrings. Also not matchy because the ocher never comes back in the outfit. But it doesn’t need to. Because of the different style of the items, I feel I have to keep it simple with the accessories. If you want to wear joggers more stylish, you need to wear a heel with it. Two totally different outfits, but both with lounge wear. How would you style lounge wear?

I need more ‘active’ lounge wear. I love BOTH of these, I can’t pick a favorite. That tie top on the first one is really cute and flattering and I love the brown pants and the sheer upper panel on the top of the first outfit.

The dressier shoe really makes a huge difference in the outfit, Nancy! I like to add jewelry, a scarf or cool shoes to jazz up casual wear. I wear band tees and jeans around the house, adding hole-y cashmere sweaters in cold weather. Sometimes I like a vintage caftan!
