You might be thinking to yourself, summer boots? Nancy, I wear boots in the winter! No no, you’ll want to wear these! I already talked about TikTok shopping last time, and today I wanted to show you one of these outfits that I shopped for this way. And I am absolutely in love with these brown summer boots. And the bomber jacket! And the top, and… well, you get the idea, I love this outfit. It also has my favourite summer colours. You might raise your eyebrows now….I am not a very colourful girl, lol.
Could’t wait to wear my brown summer boots!
On Saturday, I didn’t start working out because we were going out for dinner with friends in the evening and I wanted to save some energy. Instead, I started ironing… But meeting up with our friends was good and the food was delicious. Let’s do it again soon, Gerdi! On Sunday, we had a leisurely breakfast first, brushed the cats, and did some grocery shopping online. After that, Gerben got going on his motorbike and I sat reading in the garden. I’m even getting a bit of a tan already.
Monday was King’s Day, but we don’t like crowds, so we went to the park. I did work out for a bit in the morning, though. And we had a delicious breakfast of sweet bread French toast with blueberries and raspberries. Way too much sugar…..Worked out on Tuesday and sat in the garden again in the afternoon.
Let’s talk about the outfit
I really love this colour combination. The gorgeous green top has such a cute detail on the back, little white flowers. And a very nice sleeve. The skirt is see-through, but I’m wearing a underskirt underneath here. But I also bought leggings in the same colour. I think that looks nice too. There’s nothing wrong with leggings under a skirt or dress.
The boots are so amazing! They are beautifully finished and have those perforated holes in them. The sole feels like you’re walking in rubber slippers. Really super comfortable. I’m wearing gold-coloured accessories with them and a belt in the same colour as the boots. And then the bomber jacket! I had been looking for one for a while, but this one is perfect. With a three-quarter balloon sleeve! Just a little different.
The household help came on Wednesday, because she hadn’t been here on Monday due to the public holiday. After that, I sat in the garden again. The weather is staying nice until the weekend, so I’m making the most of it! Back to the gym on Thursday, luckily, I’m getting back into the rhythm pretty well. Did some housework and head back outside. Friday is cleaning day! Have a great weekend, everyone.

What a pretty outfit! I was wondering how the boots would be warm weather appropriate, but with holes, I guess they would work (unless it is hot and humid like here), but definitely not the nicer summer days. That’s a really lovely outfit and I do like the boots. It’s good weather at the moment but I love wearing boots right into the summer. Eventually it gets too hot but I must look out for some summer boots – they’re my kind of shoe!
