How to style black and white boots
Well that shouldn’t be that hard, because they are neutrals. But because they are embroidered boots, it is a bit more difficult for me. For me, the boots are a very busy print and I don’t want to wear any other print with them. But I’m going to try it out, another day. A dress would be the obvious choice, but I wanted to wear a skirt and I have always liked black and navy together.
So this skirt, that I had altered in spring because it was to long, is a old one but a gorgeous rich warm navy. And it’s a good lenght for the boots, I actualy rolled the skirt a bit in the waist to make it slightly shorter. The top has a lovely lace detail, which fit great with the boots, and the earrings are navy as well and super light. I was doubting between a bit wider black belt and this one, think I would have loved the black one better though.

It’s a fun pair of boots and I like how you styled your outfit to let them take center place. I keep saying I need to wear my Western boots with some dresses soon but haven’t yet as it is still warm in the afternoons.

I haven’t got any embroidered boots and might get a pair now! You look great in them and I wonder how they’d look over jeans – fabulous, I’d say! Like you I wouldn’t match them with a print, those boots are good with plain items.

The boots look so good on you Nancy, they are quite unusual a bit like a fancy cowboy boots. Not sure its you but they would look good with pants or jeans tucked in. I also rather like your pretty blouse with its lace. Many thanks for hosting .

The boots are really great and I love how you styled it with embroidered sleeves on the top. The bright navy works beautifully with the black because it’s a strong contrast, far better than a darker navy I think. Excellent pairing!

I love the embroidered boots, Nancy – they are stunning! I really like how the lace of the sleeves echoes the embroidery – it helps balance the outfit overall, because the eye goes straight to those fab boots!
I have brocade boots, colour-blocked boots, but no embroidered boots. Obviously this is an oversight!!
