Because music always moves people. We have a The Cure concert planned in November. It’s my number one band for ages and I don’t even have a tee of them! What a shame, should buy one in November!
So let’s have fun with music, because our theme for October is: Band Tees!
Just a friendly reminder for The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book.
Shelbee of Shelbee On the Edge and myself started this series after we had hosted The Bad Buy Book for a year. Now we are ready for a new challenge! Every 15th of the month we show our Good Buy or Good-Bye item. And we want you to join!
You can choose yourself whether you want to show a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye ( which is an item you are going to say good bye to). We will keep buying a Bad Buy from now and then, you know, it was so cheap, you were in a hurry and really wanted(needed) to buy something etc. But of course we also have those purchases that can make us so very happy. A piece of clothing that you have had for years and that you also wear a lot. Or something you bought on a holiday, and every time you wear it you get that holiday feeling back. Every month you can choose which item you want to send in. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide a theme for each month!
Let’s have fun with music and send us a photo of your favourite, or not so favourite band tee!
You can send either a Good Buy, a band tee that you are thrilled about, or a band tee that you are going to say Good-Bye to. Write a few lines why it is a Good Buy or a Good-Bye or send in both! If you want to be featured on both our blogs, please sent in different outfit photos. You have the time until the 10th to send us your photos! Mail to: email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
We will feature you on October 15th on both our blogs and social media. We are looking forward to see your contribution!
Have a great day,
Shelbee & Nancy
I’m looking forward to seeing your outfit. Have a great day!
Thank you very much!
I like the idea of a ‘Good Buy/Good Bye’ and will try and join in if I can and upcoming holiday allows it. I loved your black and white outfit and I hope you get to buy a Cure tee shirt at the gig. I have never owned or worn a band tee shirt; one day maybe!
We hopeyou will join us!
I was a big fan of Siouxsie back in the day, but I don’t think I ever had a band tee of her.
The only band tees I ever had were of The Smiths.
I won’t be able to join you this time though, as I haven’t got any band tees at all now!
Glad to hear you’re going to see The Cure in November! xxx
I was a big fan too, still am!
I love The Cure! You definitely need to get a tee!
Yes, I will buy one at the concert in November!
I don’t have a single band tee…le sigh…
I would thought you would!
Oh my gosh, you definitely need to get yourself a Cure tee shirt! I was listening to The Cure while I was painting the game room! Their music always makes me feel so nostalgic. This outfit you are wearing is super cool, my friend. I will write a reminder post for next week!
I often can’t even listen to their music, because it makes me feel so nostalgic! And often it brings me to tears!
I love this look so much! The Cure is a great band and you should definitely get a t-shirt at the concert!
Haha, I know! And I will, thanks Caroline!
A Cure tee is absolutely in order!
I know! It’s a shame that I don’t own one!
I’ve been so scattered lately – I will make an outfit with a band tee for you, Nancy!
Love your Cure shirt — I would love to see them live, but those big acts never make it over to my wee island.
The tee is a Siouxie and the Banshees tee, I don’t own a The Cure tee, but I need too.
This is indeed a great post.
Very informative and definitely love your tees Ms Nancy
