Today I wear a whole mix of prints! Polka dots, stripes and Pied-de-Poule. 3 Prints in 1 outfit! Does that work! Hell yes. Let me remind you that before blogging I never wore prints. Ever! I remember someone told me to wear more colors and prints about 30 years ago. And I then bought a floral blouse, god knows why because I don’t like blouses either, never wore it of course! I didn’t feel good in that. And why did that person, it was a friend!, told me that anyway! Take me for who I am! Should have told that 30 years ago btw…….
Print mixing galore-3 prints in 1 outfit
For me personally, 3 prints in one outfit works best if I only wear two different colors, at most three. Shades from the same color pallet. So pink with lilac or dark blue with light blue. I myself wouldn’t wear purple and orange with three different prints. That does not mean that it cannot be beautiful though. But for me it is a bit too much, to wear it myself I mean. It can look fabulous on someone else! I know a lot of bloggers that mix prints to the top!
Today I stick to black and white. I showed you my first palazzo trousers here and I was so fond of this design that I bought these striped ones too. By the way, these blouse and trousers are the only new clothes I have bought in months. Good of me hey! I also bought this blouse because I wanted these striped trousers topped with a polka dot blouse. Funny that I wear a blouse with ruffles on both these wide legged trousers.
How to style 3 prints in 1 outfit
When I had the blouse and trousers on I thought there was still something missing on the outfit. So therefor the jacket! Perfect, because the short sleeves show enough of the blouse and the ruffles fall nicely over the collar. I did say here that I didn’t like to wear heels with these wide legged trousers, but I am wearing heels here. But I would wear my sneakers and then drop the jacket. Perhaps a denim jacket then or a leather one. As accessories I wear long pearl earrings and a statement white and black ring. And a few simple gold bracelets with a lava stone bead bracelet.
These trousers are so very comfortable. But I still think it’s a stylish clean modern look for every day. The palazzo trousers are high waist and the fabric is very stretchy, but I don’t need corrective underwear. That’s a bonus. Does corrective underwear ever look sexy? Not to me!

It is such a fun outfit, Nancy. All the three patterns are very strong but because you are keeping them in the same black and white colour scheme, they work wonderfully together. The blouse is adorable and looks great with palazzo pants. Grey buy

If anyone can pull off 3 prints at one time or even 10 prints at one time it is YOU! Beautifully done. Love the way my eyes pop around from one print and piece to the next. Kind of like an optical illusion. Everything fits so well and this looks like an ensemble put together by a cutting edge designer!
