I wore this dress last summer just once! I love it to much and that’s why I wear this summer dress in December!
But first:
I like to go to concerts. And therefore also to a festival as you could read here. I love the atmosphere and to sing along. I don’t necessarily have to go to a concert to sing along. Friday is always my cleaning day and that is paired with pretty loud music and singing along! I don’t believe that my neigbours hear it ….. at least I hope so.
Last week we went to a Kim Wilde concert with a couple of friends and my sister and her boyfriend! We also got tickets for Iron Maiden next year, btw! And the night after that concert, we went to Colin Blunstone. That was a gift for Gerben. It was his birthday a few weeks ago. I always have such anticipation of these kinds of surprises. Because I know he really wants to go there. He has been to a Colin Blunstone concert twice before. But Colin Blunstone does not perform in our neighborhood. So then I say: No that is not handy, that far away. You also have to work, so we need to hurry then, etc. Haha, I also arranged a dinner. So first good food and then the concert! Perfect combination.
Why not wear a summer dress in December!
Yeah, why not! I wore this dress just once! Don’t know why. Perhaps it has got something to do with the amount of clothes I have…..I don’t feel any shame, I love clothing! But I did buy this blazer pre loved! It was from another brand then the ad said! I hate that, this is a less better quality brand, but still good.
Don’t you just love black and white with cobalt! It is such a good combination. Predictable but good! The boots are from last year. A very high quality Italian boot. I ordered then a few weeks ago also in brown. Got lucky because they were in sale. I wouldn’t buy these if they weren’t in sale. But they are worth it, it is such a elegant classic boot. And the leather is very soft.
How I layer this summer dress
Well that is not so difficult of course. I always layer a lot in these months. I am wearing a camisole and a basic long sleeve tee, And 60 denier tight. That will do the trick. A cardigan or, like me, a blazer over the dress and it’s winter proof!
I am wearing long pearl earrings and a very old pearl bracelet and a plastic statement blue ring. And my name necklace. I belted the blazer for a more refined style.

I love this blazer over dress look – very classic. I pack away all of my seasonal dresses, but I used to do this with my summer dresses. Now, I just have too many dresses, and don’t keep very many out all year round.
