Aren’t you all very tired, by this time, of seeing me in Very Peri and all shades of purple? I am sorry, I just love it for the moment. And not only are you going to see me again in that color, but also all these fabulous women who joined us this month!
Btw, why not join us next month? You don’t have to be a blogger, just join in with the fun! We would love to feature you!
Shelbee of Shelbee On the Edge and myself started this series after we had hosted The Bad Buy Book for a year. Now we are ready for a new challenge! Every 15th of the month we show our Good Buy or Good-Bye item. And we want you to join!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book about?
It is a collage of outfits! You can choose yourself whether you want to show a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye ( which is an item you are going to say good bye to). We will keep buying a Bad Buy from now and then, you know, it was so cheap, you were in a hurry and really wanted(needed) to buy something etc. But of course we also have those purchases that can make us so very happy. A piece of clothing that you have had for years and that you also wear a lot. Or something you bought on a holiday, and every time you wear it you get that holiday feeling back. Every month you can choose which item you want to send in. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide a theme for each month!
So let’s start with The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Very Peri!
First my dear blogging friend and co-host Shelbee of Shelbee on the Edge
My purple peacoat from Target is at least 15 years old so clearly a Good Buy. I love the way it pairs with this lighter purple sweater that was gifted from Rosegal about 4 or 5 years ago. Not bought, but I have worn it a bunch and really like the color and the lightweight knit for spring.
Michelle of My Bijou Life

Sheila of Ephemera
Purple has always been one of my favourite colours – I’ve had purple hair for several years, but now I find myself sporting a trendy colour with my “peri” hair!

Gail of Is this mutton?
I love all variations of purple. The short tie wrap is very peri, worn with a white roll neck, purple trousers and white boots.
And here is my Very Peri outfit!
I told you before, I am in a purple cloud at the moment. My purple suit, lilac trousers and purple skirt are the proof of that. Now I like the colour a lot. When I received this coat for a collaboration years ago I didn’t. But I thought, well it’s something different! I gave it away without ever wearing it. And I do regret that so much!! So it was a Good-Bye but it could have been a Good Buy.
April’s theme will be: Easter egg colours!
And now hop over to Shelbee’s blog to see what the other fashion bloggers are wearing!
Send your photo with a few sentences if it is a Good Buy or a Good-Bye and we will put you in the spotlights! Send it please before the 10th of each month to shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com or to batennancy@gmail.com
By joining The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book, you agree to receive a monthly reminder email for next month!
The coat is beautiful and looks brilliant on you! Too bad you gave it away. You must get a similar one.
xoxo

You definitely ARE in a purple cloud, Nancy, and I must say that the colour suits you.
I can’t believe you let go of that wonderful coat, but then again I used to have a purple coat as well. And where has it gone too? Exactly 🙂 xxx

It is, I just hope anyone else is very happy with it, lol!
So many great looks. I love the little lacy hem or layer at the bottom of Shelbee’s skirt and the pairing of the peri with chocolate brown. I remember Jodie’s booties…who could forget them…so pretty. And her faux fur in very peri. Love all the other gals’ looks. Periwinkle is kind of a hard color for me to pin down. Not blue and not purple. But when I see it, I usually recognize it. Look how long and lean Gail is with her peri ensemble. And your coat and leather look with that snuggly scarf are absolutely fierce.

Yes, all fabulous looks right? And all fabulous women!
Very Peri has to be the highlight of the year so far! Everyone looks great in their purple hues. Love your coat Nancy! Thanks for including me.

Great choices Nancy. Sorry I didn’t get one to you, it’s not a shade I wear very often. Nice to see all these fabulous examples. Well done x Jacqui x

I don’t think I have seen you in that shade indeed. Thanks Jacqui. Perhaps you can join us next time.
