Shelbee of Shelbee On the Edge and myself started this series after we had hosted The Bad Buy Book for a year. Now we are ready for a new challenge! Every 15th of the month we show our Good Buy or Good-Bye item. And we want you to join!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book about?
It is a collage of outfits! You can choose yourself whether you want to show a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye ( which is an item you are going to say good bye to). We will keep buying a Bad Buy from now and then, you know, it was so cheap, you were in a hurry and really wanted(needed) to buy something etc. But of course we also have those purchases that can make us so very happy. A piece of clothing that you have had for years and that you also wear a lot. Or something you bought on a holiday, and every time you wear it you get that holiday feeling back. Every month you can choose which item you want to send in. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide a theme for each month!
So let’s start with The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Long cardigans!

I love this emerald green chenille open front cardigan with the fun lace up back! I purchased it on clearance from Torrid in the Fall and I have worn it at least a dozen times. I actually wasn’t thrilled with the fit when I initially purchased it, but given how frequently I do wear it, I would consider it a good buy, for sure.

This long black cardigan was definitely a GOOD BUY! I always feel elegant wearing it. It’s a light weight, loose knit so I can also wear it in the summer with a tank top. I’ve had it for several years and it has served me well. Black is always in style and I believe I’ve invested in a timeless piece.

Here’s my selfie photo with my long cardigan. I love this cardigan even though it was a hand me down from a friend. I wore it for our anniversary lunch last month belted so it would stay in place.

While the sleeves make it difficult to wash dishes or do anything in the kitchen, they sure make a statement and I love how warm and cozy this cardigan feom Target makes me feel!
And finally my favorite long cardigan
Of course I like all my black long cardigans, but this shade of green is so beautifull. I also wore it with my DvF dress.

Another great round up of fabulous styles! Every one looks so great in their long cardigans. I don’t think there were any good-byes this month! I have the same cardigan as Mireille but in a dark purple and I love the statement of the sleeves, but you definitely cannot do dishes while wearing it!
