Two trends that have appeared in the collections for years are the pleated skirt and the leopard print. How nice if it is combined in a skirt! I remember when I just started blogging, an English blogger I followed wore a lot of pleated skirts. I had to get used to it myself, but it looked great on her! Slowly I started to appreciate them and now they are indispensable in my closet! I love them. Especially since you can wear them in all kinds of different styles. And even to be seen in a lot of different prints.
Pleated skirt with leopard print
I have always loved the leopard print. Ever since it was not done to wear this print. Yes, those times have passed! I felt like wearing my festival biker boots again. I always wear these boots when we go to a festival, but yes, not this year! I can still remember where and when I bought these biker boots. Eight years ago. I saw them and fell for the golden studs. But back then I always wore heels and wasn’t sure about the flat heel and bit male looking boots.
Purchased them anyway, they were also quite expensive, and I didn’t regret it for a second. I love them so much! Especially under a skirt or dress. You know, for the contrast.
Khaki and pleats and leopard for this season
I will also wear this skirt with a mustard colored top. Yes yes, I have had a color analysis! But now I felt like black for a while. With a few gold-colored accents! The skirt is khaki which is a fabulous warm color. Not only for fall but even in summer. Any color looks good with it! It’s from Zara and I believe they had it in a shade of red too!

Gorgeous pleated skirts like that and leopard – of any kind – are two things I love! That skirt is lovely. I recently got the most gorgeous champagne + blush pink pleated skirt that needs to be worn for a special occasion. Thanks for the linkup, welcome by and link up with me as well. =)
Very cool outfit, Nancy! I really like your biker boots with your pleated skirt. Awesome contrast! And you look ready for anything!
You are so joyful!!
I have a very similar leopard skirt but mine is in a brick color. How I love your green one.

Thanks Mica, have a great start of the week!
Love this getup Nancy. And you’re right, the leopard print and the pleated skirt were meant to be together! 😉
I really like this look on you Nancy! Its chic yet rock and roll at the same time 🙂
You sport this very well! I always have a hard time with pleated skirts because I feel they emphasize my mommy belly but I do have one rainbow one. I love the contrasts with the more feminine and masculine elements in your outfit.
Just wear them a bit lower then Mireille! That works often!
Nancy, you know I love anything leopard print, and this skirt is fantastic! Love how you styled it with the blazer and boots too—I’d totally wear this look!

Thanks Cheryl, it would look devine on you!
I’ve always loved this kind of pleated skirt, and I was already wearing a black one from a second-hand shop back in the 1980s. In fact, I just bought a dark green one the other day! I love your leopard print one, and it looks very chic with black and gold. The biker boots give this outfit the right kind of edge! xxx
Oh you did! You are a trend setter Ann! Lol, don’t think you want to be!
This is a fabulous outfit!
What a great combo–the skirt, the pleats, the leopard and those boots! Love it all!
Thank you very much!
That skirt is so beautiful! I love the metallic sheen and beautiful print!
I had to grow into the pleated skirt trend, too. At first, I thought they looked too old lady but, of course, it’s all about how you style them! I love this green leopard–part of your color analysis, right? It would look good with mustard!! Happy weekend, Nancy!
Yes but now we are in love with them aren’t we! Thanks Darlene!
I’m the same way Nancy…I have a couple in my closet now and adore them. I especially love them with the combat boots.
Yes me too or with sneakers! Thanks Jodie!

That is a fantastic skirt, Nancy – and I love it paired with your rocker/tough biker boots. Those are what I think of with your style – you’re such a rocker! 🙂
When I was a teen, I loathed pleated skirts (I thought they were very “old lady”), but now that I’m older, they are one of my favourite styles. I have to restrain myself not to buy too many! Ha ha!
Thank you so much for the link-up – I’ll be along shortly in my leopard skirt!
Yes, haha, I know what you mean! On both! That would be fabulous Sheila!
I’m obsessed with this outfit, Nancy!! I remember when pleated skirts were all the rage a few years ago, and I think they’re still so elegant and stylish. I don’t have one myself, though!
Miles of smiles,
