Pleated skirts are still a trend. And fortunately, because I love them.
I want to ask you if you would be so kind to vote for me for the Blogger’s Battle! Would appreciate it, it will only take a minute.
This skirt is from Primark. I love to shop there once a year or so, but it’s rare that I buy clothes there. But I felt like shopping on a Sunday and went to the city with Gerben. He really did not want to go inside but fortunately there are nice shops in Arnhem where Gerben can shop. Otherwise, he would of course have been able to sit with all those other men who were waiting outside the Primark on the sidewalk!(funny sight) I succeeded surprisingly this time. In fact, everything (except the boots) comes from the Primark.
Pleated skirt and long cardigan
I did not intend to wear the skirt with this top. I wanted to wear the top on a black skirt and with the pleated skirt I had a denim blouse in mind. But these colors look very good together. A bit the opposite of ton sur ton! Color blocking. The long cardigan looks surprisingly good, I think, on the skirt. I thought I wasn’t a fan of wearing longer jackets or cardigans on wider skirts. I felt very good about it. The boots are very nice but are really awful to put on and off. There is no zipper and they are quite narrow. I’m almost out of breath when I finally have them on, and Gerben has to help me with the pulling out. It’s a good thing you all don’t see that! The belt is transparent and I bought the beautiful ring in an antique store in Lewes. Gerben had seen it before I did! It’s my first pre loved jewelry. I have to be honest, I cleaned it like hell when we got home! But isn’t it worth it!
