It is the birthday of my elegant fashion blogger friend Ada. Congratulations dear Ada. She has been celebrating her birthday on her blog for years by inviting all her blogger friends to her virtual Style Blog Birthday Party. Usually she also hangs a dress code on the party. And I love a dress code! I like balance, symmetry. And I can enjoy a room full of people dressed in a certain dress code, but with their own interpretation. This year Ada chose coral and red.
What are fashion blogger friends for
We recently did the theme Ladies in Red on Stylish Monday. But then I noticed that I had many more outfits with red than I thought. Red is not my favorite color at all, but I still have quite a bit of it in my closet. So I thought it would be nice to show some other outfits in red. In honor of Ada’s birthday, we also have a linkup party today. So join in, linkup and meet other fantastic bloggers. But most important … don’t forget to congratulate Ada!
Red print King Louie wrap dress. Pre loved! My favorite dress from last year.
Monochrome pink. Where I never wore pink before, I now love it!
Coral (orange) Short dress over a linen shirt dress. I bought that ,cheap, orange long tee short dress to wear over another dress, but it looked very stupid. I was just a fan of these colors together, not of the outfit.
Again a pre loved King Louie dress with daisy’s and red. One of my favorite dresses from last year!
A winter outfit with all different shades of red. I just gave away those ankle boots as they were a bit to small. But it had fur (faux) in it and they were so incredible warm! Perfect for winter.
Perfect combination of red and pink. It’a photo of when I first started blogging. I never would wear tights like that ever again!
