The Pantone colors of the year 2021 have been chosen and they are Ultimate Gray and Iluminating. Well let me try this combination then, with my own grey and yellow. Not the exact colors, but I never like to copy a look or style exactly how it is. I like to give it my own twist!

I haven’t shown this grey checked skirt on the blog yet. I like it when simple lined clothing have a special twist. Like this knotted detail. And it is in a perfect place to conceal something. Like when we go out for dinner and ate to much!( yeah right, what is that, going out for dinner) By the way, can someone explane to me when you write dinner and when diner? I thought that dinner was a meal and diner somewhere where you eat the meal!
The sweater is pre loved by Miss Selfridge and has beautiful lace cuffs with buttons in the same fabric. And the stand-up collar is also made of lace. And is buttoned with three buttons also in the same fabric in the neck. Not very handy to close, so I just pull it quite roughly over my head, completely ruining my hairstyle. Well you will think, what a hairstyle! Yes I know! My hair always looks like I just got out of bed anyway, but trust me, it takes a lot of time to get it that way. But now it looks just horrible because I have to go to the hairdresser so badly! But that will take a while.

So grey and yellow. Quite a beautiful combination. I’m wearing my yellow ankle boots because that’s the only yellow I have in my closet. Except for a cardigan, which is more ochre then yellow. I love these kind of ankle boots, have them in all kinds of colors, I’m just looking for a pair of cobalt blue ones. And leopard ones!
The long grey cardigan is one of my favorite items of this season! Love to wear long cardigans anyway, but this grey one is very versatile. I like to wear the sleeves three quarter to show of the beautiful cuffs. And I added two lovely little brooches to the outfit!

I love grey with a pop of bright yellow – this is a FAB outfit, Nancy! I am down with these lovely colours for 2021.
Dinner = what you eat.
Diner = place you eat (diners are often retro)
Diner = one who dines.
A diner at the diner ordered dinner.
Both Diners are pronounced DIE-ner; Dinner is pronounced “DIH-ner”.

The yellow booties really make the look! The bright pop of color is nice. I’m not sure how I feel about the pantone color thing – I usually wear what I like and don’t own much yellow but do have some grey. Who knows? Maybe I’ll fall in love with both after seeing so much of them!
