Gosh, it is so beautiful outside! Have you been in a forest lately? Do it, it’s Autumn in the forest and it is gorgeous! I even sat outside in the sun in our garden twice last week. Another week has passed, without even noticing it. Nearly November, what, almost Christmas! Haha, I’m really looking forward to it. Even though it probably won’t be a get together with the whole family, it still can be cozy with a very small group.
What did I do last week?

- This dress didn’t work for me anymore, but I love the color.

- Now it is a sweater!

- More clothes sold!

- Breakfast on Sunday.

- Diner on Sunday
Last week I sold a lot of clothes. My goodness, what a lot I had in my closet that I no longer wore or was just a bad buy. But the closets are organized and I had a good look at what I am missing …… And that is quite a lot, lol! I did work out at the physio once this week, which was nice. We only exercise with two people and clean everything properly and the physiotherapist keeps a good distance and wears a mask. But nice to see and speak to someone in real life.
I also got the flu shot. Normally I always go out with my oxygen glasses on. But because of course you have to wear a face mask there, I thought, I will put the normal oxygen hose in for a while, otherwise the glasses fog up so badly and I don’t see anything. Haha, I got in the car and drove off the street and thought, shit, without glasses I can see very little from a distance! Well it was not very far, but it was not really very safe either.
Gerben had to be tested again on Friday for Corona. Again because a customer damned about reporting that there is Corona on the plant. Afraid of the publicity. Fortunately negative! We could start the weekend with peace of mind.
Autumn in the forest
Saturday would be a nice weather day and Sunday all day rain, so we decided to go to the national park to enjoy the beautiful autumn colors on Saturday. O how beautiful it is in the forest now! All these beautiful Autumn colors. And so many mushrooms! It was really lovely, in the end it started to rain but we didn’t even care, it was so beautiful.
On the way back we were already quite hungry and then we decided to get some fries and snacks and ate them in the car! I think we do that once a year, we are more of the healthy food, but sometimes you need to skipp class!
On Sunday we worked out and played Rummikub. Gerben cooked a delicious meal. Filled portobello mushrooms with goat cheese and spinach and pine nuts, potatoes from the oven and apple compote. And then we watched the Formule 1 race that we recorded. What a wonderful weekend! Have a great week!
Sounds like a lovely weekend! Ha! You watched Formula 1 racing, and we watched motorcycle racing this weekend. So glad Gergen was negative for Covid! Ugh. Some people are so stupid and selfish.

We were just in the forest yesterday; most of our colors have passed now and the trees are getting pretty bare. It was amazing to see the changes in just the past 4 or 5 days! Glad his test was negative and that you can enjoy your weekend with peace of mind.

I’m trying to be out into a forest – or at least a park – as much as I can, but unfortunately the weather hasn’t been all that nice here. I had the day off today and this morning there was a little bit of sunshine, but then it started drizzling, and it has been cold and windy all day.
Congratulations on selling so many clothes, and freeing up space in your wardrobe … which obviously will have to be filled again 🙂 How horrible that Gerben had to be tested due to the negligence of that customer. That must have been scary!
Love the fungi in the national park, and I’m swooning over that first, red-based dress at the bottom! xxx

Glad your clothes are selling well! Most time I get rid of something, I get something to replace it lol! I found a pretty blue dress on clearance at Target that I can winterize so got rid of one I was given that I really didn’t like much. Love all the different mushrooms and need to get my boys out for a hike soon. Maybe a bike ride first this weekend though!

It’s snowing/raining here-so not outdoor wandering for a while. Dinner sounded wonderful, except (and I am the ONLY one in the family who doesn’t) like goat cheese. I’ve tried and just can’t. What made me come over was just that glimpse those wonderful houndstooth pants. Take care, Terri

I am so glad Gerben tested negative again, bless his heart! My glasses fogging up all the time make me think twice about going out, it’s such a pain. I am going to do a ton of purging in my closet, I need to lighten my load so I can enjoy the pieces I really like!

What a scrumptious sounding dinner Gerben prepared. My PC does very little cooking but is always good about eating sandwiches instead of a big meal. Sometimes you just have to indulge in junk food. We usually eat snacks on rod trips, too.

I am glad that Gerben tested negative but so sorry to hear that you have to deal with that stress of exposure! I do love autumn days spent in the great outdoors, but it has been so cold here that I simply cannot tolerate being outside. I love all of your outfits and your mushroom photos! I love being in the forest, especially at this time of year with all the mushrooms…I don’t eat them though, I’m not confident in identifying them. Thank goodness Gerben’s test came back negative! We are going back into lockdown next week…2020 has been a real shit show! Thanks for linking up!
