Cowboy boots are a huge trend. And you see them in all colors and prints. The cowboy boots with a snake print are hot!
I once got a pair of boots from Gerben when we were just together. Yes, he knew back then already what he could win me with! At the time, it was the trend to have the most slanting heel possible. My boots were super slanting, you understand that of course. So oblique, in fact, that you couldn’t even walk normally. But okay, shoes and boots didn’t have to be comfortable for me at that time. if only they were beautiful that was enough!
*Ad. I was allowed to chose shoes and this is one of the two pair I choose! I never chose shoes or clothing I would not wear! These are from De Schoenenfabriek and I have to say: they are fabulous!
Very comfortable cowboy boots
25 years later it is different. For me the appearance of a shoe or boot is still ahead of the comfort, but because I can’t walk for very long, due to my lungs, shoes and boots must also be comfortable. For a collaboration with De Schoenenfabriek I was allowed to choose two pairs of shoes. This pair immediately caught my eye. Nice and cool and perfect to wear under dresses and skirts. And I always love buckles and studs on boots. I was just a little afraid that it would be silver, because I don’t like that, I never wear it. But luckily it’s black. When I put on these boots I was really surprised. They just feel like slippers! Wow, really incredible. I already have a pair of sandals from this brand.
What to wear with these cool boots
I haven’t worn this dress in ages. Perhaps I only wore it once. Funny fact, there is one blogger, I know of, who knows exactly how often she has worn a piece of clothing and when, and also how much it has cost. So she knows how much the item cost per wear. Awesome! Yes, Sheila, I’m talking about you. Although I really like this dress, I don’t like the top. It is not comfortable, I think it is frumpy, and that’s why I didn’t wear it. At a certain moment you forget that you have it in one of your closets. Until I thought that this cute balloon sleeved cardigan, which I love, would look nice on this dress. A good mix of prints. In same colors! All kinds of styles together! Well cowboy boots are not very difficult to style though. Whether you wear them with trousers, so according to the latest trend, wear trousers in boots. Or with a dress or skirt, it doesn’t matter, it always will look good. Give it a try!
Would really appreciate it if you would share my outfit on Pinterest! Just hoover over the photo!
I would love it if you could follow me on Instagram!
Hey, Nancy! Thanks so much for the shout-out! Aren’t you a sweetheart?
I tried to email you, but your email option is trying to force me to create accounts and logins, and I can’t be bothered – I’m super low-tech (I do not have a phone). If you have an actual email address, you could leave it in a comment on my blog (I won’t publish it), or you can email me directly (my email’s in my profile). I get that you don’t want to post your email, and apologize for the extra effort.
To the outfit! This is so cute, but if feels like you’re more rock & roll than polka dots? If you aren’t feeling the dress toss it! I love the cardigan and those are really cute boots (you know I have red Texas-made cowboy boots!). Comfy too? Sold!
Thanks Sheila, I think I toss it!
I love the combination of this outfit. ” You mix cute stripes and polka dots with cowboyboots to a wonderful style mix. You look great.
Thank you very much Tina! Have a great day!
Oh, I’m so loving your cowboy boots which can be paired with so many outfits and I love the way you styled yours! I did a post on snake print boots. If I don’t like a piece of clothing, I tend to give it away and hope someone else appreciates it.
Thanks Yvonne! I am going to do so with this dress!
I need to find more ways to wear my cowboy boots, Pinterest here I come! These black ones with the buckles are quite nice! I think you could wear them with a lot!
I think I saw just a few minutes ago some great brown boots of you!!
I too have dresses in my wardrobe which I’m not wearing as I think they’re too frumpy, but which I’m somehow reluctantly to get rid of. Sometimes, it take a certain styling, or even just the right accessory, to make you fall in love with it again. I love how you styled it here with the striped cardigan. I’m also loving your boots, which I’m glad to hear are not just stylish but comfortable too. xxx
Nancy, I’m obsessed with these boots. They’re so edgy and fierce and I love how you styled them with stripes and polka dots. It’s such a fun look. I think the dress looks fabulous on you but at the end of the day, you have to like it. I hope you’re having a great start to the week!
Now those are edgy cowboy boots to me!! Talk about fabulous!!
They are such fun statement boots! I love the print and the studs pair so perfectly with that dress! Such nice print mixing too 🙂
Hope you’re having a great week 🙂
Thanks Mica, I love the studs too!
Love, love, love the boots!!?
I know what you mean about the dress, but with those cool boots, it looks quite smashing! And you are so right that you can wear them with everything!
Have a great day!
Yes they are very versatile! I love them!
The boots look fabulous Nancy and I like how you wore them with polka dots dress. However, I agree with Sheila in regards to the dress. If you don’t like it and have to cover it with the cardigan maybe you should let it go 🙁
Yes I know. I don’t think I will wear this one again, so it’s going to be sold! Thanks Anna!
I am obsessed with these boots! I see them working with everything. Amazing look Nancy!
Thanks, yes because they are not that long right!
These are such fun cowboy boots. I like the buckles.
Thanks, yes me too and the studs!
You have inspired me to get out my cowboy boots. They aren’t terribly comfortable but boy, are they cute! But I really like your little shorty cowboy boots better. More versatile, I think. You look sensational. Yee haw!
Show them Leslie!
Very cool boots Nancy and I LOVE your nail color and ring!! Thanks for sharing this post with The Style Six Link Up!
The cute boots looks lovely. You are beautiful Nancy!
Thank you very much Thomas!
I like the touch of cowboy with the western boots – the buckles are cool! I like a little touch like you have done here and it looks great with the skirt and stripes. I bought a pair from thrifting that are a rustic brown.
thanks for linking!
Wat heb je er toch weer een leuke outfit post van gemaakt! Heerlijk!
Love the boots. I would never wear them under a dress or skirt, since I am so petite, but I love seeing that style on others, like here! It spices up your romantic looking dress. Love, Lieske
Yes I agree, but the dress is going! Haha.
Nancy, this outfit is so great! And these boots! I am in love. I love the subtle snakeskin print and the cute buckles. And they are so cute with the long dress. I love the pattern mix so much, too. Thanks for linking up with me, my friend.
Thank you very much Shelbee! See you tomorrow!
