Why is this color always so hard to find!
I can remember that when I was 15, I received clothing allowance from my parents. That only lasted a moment because shortly after they got divorced and that fun was over. But it gave me the freedom to buy what I wanted. I therefore remember that I bought brown corduroy trousers with a brown striped sweater. In a season that nobody wore brown. But I thought it was a beautiful color.
Well I usually find dark brown hard to find in the fall. But this season, it looks like the new black. Immediately bought a cardigan and blouse and fortunately I had already scored over the knee boots a few years ago. Today I show you some of my favorite looks in brown.
Beautiful in brown…. at least I think so(lol)
This is a maxi skirt that I also wore as a dress. Havn’t got it anymore, I am not a maxi skirt kind a girl. But I think it looks very good with blue!
This was a short cardigan. I bought it because I wanted a brown cardigan and could not find one in the right color. Except for this one, but it was a poor quality. I just wanted it to add some dark brown to a few outfits.
I loved this top. It’s beige, that is from the brown palette. But I definitely should not wear beige in my face.
I love this dress, it’s pre loved. But I like it better with thick tights and boots. And that dark brown cardigan. I havn’t tried that combination yet, but I will.
This was a skirt that I wore with a brown striped vest and cool brown boots. The vest was to small after a few years and the boots were completely worn out. I loved that outfit.
I sometimes do love these printed skirts. This one was so lovely with deer. Again with that cheap cardigan and my beloved over the knee boots.

I especially love the first and last outfit shown Nancy, both beautiful skirts. You seem to be able to wear all kinds of colours and styles and look good in them. What I love most about the colour brown is the association with nature and…with chocolate, so wearing brown items always make me happy! Love, Lieske

You have really great pieces from the brown color palette. Beige washes me out too but I still really like it! My favorite is that skirt – the photo that was taken inside – love that look!

We buy the thing we don’t like so much to hold us over til we find the PERFECT thing…ugh!

I love all of your brown outfits, Nancy! Brown is a color that rarely makes an appearance in my wardrobe. I always have trouble styling it. But I may have to rethink that.

You did great! I love that look with the denim skirt and leopard top and your “cheap” brown cardigan. And I also love the one you said you wore with the striped vest that you didn’t have any more. These are all beautiful ways to incorporate browns, but those two are my favorites!

I love a rich chocolate brown, whether in a dress, blouse, skirt or pants. It’s a great colour, but yes, hasn’t been around much for about a decade – it’s nice to see it coming back. I love that skirt with the deer print – so pretty!

The brown color is very tricky. At least for me. I’m finding it pretty difficult to find the shade I like and which looks good on me as well. I love your outfit with the big floral print skirt and over knee boots.

Great looks, Nancy! I always have a hard time finding brown as well and so I don’t wear it often. And tans are really not good on me so I bypass them completely. But you have lots of gorgeous pieces in shades of brown!
