In the past … yes yes in the past, there was a time when wearing your trousers in boots was trendy, I think it was in my puberty, and probably a few decades later. Yes I am at that age that I have come across a trend before. I’ve never been a fan of wearing trousers in boots, always thought it was such a weird sight. I don’t know why, I have never liked it on anyone.

But nothing is as changeable as women so, you guessed it, I like it quite a bit now. No, that’s not true, I only like this combination. The same sweater and cardigan as last week, because gray and pink also look great together. And by the way I don’t have another top in grey either! I feel a shopping moment coming. These trousers somehow lend themselves to being worn in a boot. I’ve bought these trousers at Primark a few years ago. Can you believe it. They last longer then a few months, impressive. And I still like them a lot.
Boots in trousers, very 70’s or trendy?
The boots are very old and I threw them away after the shoot. Because I saw that the suede was wearing off completely. Not good looking anymore. Well, they did make their money. Oh gosh, another shopping moment I hear, this is going to be a good day! Hahaha, no I am not shallow….
I have added another cat brooche. It has pink in it! And purple, and those two go great together. And I am wearing plastic pink earrings, very light. How do you feel about the trousers in boots look. Is it something you are wearing or will be wearing? I think I would only wear it with these trousers, but as I don’t have the boots anymore, I will probably never wear them with boots anymore. But you never know! I might find the perfect grey boots! Lol.

I love this pink and gray outfit, Nancy – and I am no fan of gray. LOL! But this combination is very pretty. As for trousers in boots, that’s pretty much the only way I wear leggings / Jeggings in the winter.

I haven’t worn my pants tucked in to boots in quite awhile but that’s only because I never wore tall boots this season at all – it just never got cold enough and we hardly went out so there wasn’t a need. I remember doing it all the time as a teen though! I’m old enough too to see trends come and go and then come back!
This definitely looks fresh and new and not like a throwback to a trend long gone – you have a great eye for putting things together Nancy. I love the pink trousers of course, they look so soft. The grey looks so pretty too!

I actually love this trend- and I think it’s trendy again. I do tuck in pants into boots sometimes. I wear dresses more often than pants but when I wear pants in the winter, I sometimes wear them this way.
