This season, one of my favorite go-to outfits features a statement pink print midi skirt, balanced perfectly with a sleek top and colourful sandals. It’s the kind of look that feels both fresh and timeless, perfect for everything from brunch dates to a bbq with friends. Weird that pink attracts me so much for the past years….(I needed the photos for today, but it was in the afternoon and raining, so they are not very bright!)
The Star of the Look: The Pink Print Midi Skirt

A midi skirt in a vibrant pink print is a wardrobe hero. It offers movement, colour, and just the right amount of drama. Whether it’s floral, abstract, or geometric, the print brings a joyful burst of personality. The midi length is flattering on nearly every body type. I tend to buy longer skirts, but I feel better in slightly shorter ones. Even a bit shorter then this one would be more perfect.
When choosing a pink print, I love leaning into hues that feel soft yet bold. Think blush tones splashed with coral, rose, or magenta. The beauty of this piece lies in its ability to do all the talking, making styling it incredibly simple. And that is exactly what I love! These magenta peeptoes would look fabulous under this print pink skirt too!
Keeping It Chic: A Pink Knit

To let the pink print skirt shine, I keep the top minimal. A fitted tee, a sleek tank, or a lightweight knit instantly grounds the look. Black offers that grounding effect, giving the eye a place to rest amidst the colour and print. Plus, it creates a beautifully balanced contrast that elevates the entire outfit. But I wore this for a lunch with my parents in law and choose a softer look.
I particularly love pairing this combo with a slightly tucked-in top to emphasize the waist and elongate the figure. A square neckline or mock neck can add a touch of sophistication, depending on the vibe you’re after. Both doesn’t work for me at all.
No outfit is complete without the right shoes, and these pink sandals are the ultimate polish. They add a whisper of vintage glamour while keeping things modern and practical. Whether with a kitten heel or a slightly higher stiletto, they elongate the legs and echo the pink top for a cohesive finish. Sandals are always en vogue, they are always available, in every colour with any type of heel. These have a little block heel and makes the outfit a bit more classic.
Of course I keep the accessories to a minimum. Some golden bracelets and a fun necklace with sea related charms. I had planned to wear a pink statement ring too, but left it on my bed…..

It did indeed! I wore that skirt today too, with black. I think with pink looks better, but I am also looking for a top in that yellow!

I wanted to say to ypu that these are my only multi colour shoes, and then I started thinking……..and I have several! So I must love that too, lol. Thanks Di!
That’s such a fun print, and it’s lovely to see you in bright colors (I say this as someone who wears far too many neutrals, but they all go together, don’t they?!). I can see why you’re wearing it so frequently!
