Shelbee of Shelbee On the Edge and myself started this series after we had hosted The Bad Buy Book for a year. Now we are ready for a new challenge! Every 15th of the month we show our Good Buy or Good-Bye item. And we want you to join!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book about?
It is a collage of outfits! You can choose yourself whether you want to show a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye ( which is an item you are going to say good bye to). We will keep buying a Bad Buy from now and then, you know, it was so cheap, you were in a hurry and really wanted(needed) to buy something etc. But of course we also have those purchases that can make us so very happy. A piece of clothing that you have had for years and that you also wear a lot. Or something you bought on a holiday, and every time you wear it you get that holiday feeling back. Every month you can choose which item you want to send in. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide a theme for each month!
So let’s start with The GoodBuy/Good-Bye Book: Leather!
First my dear blogging friend and co-host Shelbee of Shelbee on the Edge
My red leather cowgirl boots are absolutely a Good Buy (although they were gifted to me by Country Outfitter, but I would have bought them for myself if they weren’t gifted). They are super comfortable and make me feel like a complete badass cowgirl chic! And I mean, red leather. You can’t go wrong!

I bought these rose-gold leather trousers new (a rare thing for me – I am 95% second-hand), at Free People in Portland, Oregon, back in September 2017 for $129.00 US, and I’ve worn them about a dozen times. I fondly refer to these as my Space Pants (made from Space Cows, of course). I love showing them off to my coworkers – yes, I wear them to work!

I waited for years for this leather jacket! I wanted biker jacket edge, but not the harsh black against my no-longer-spring-chicken complexion! When I found this one, there was no hesitation! And now our weather is finally cooling off enough that I can pop it on in the morning. YAY!

I included a photo of myself wearing some faux leather pants. I am a huge fan of leather pants because the pet hair doesn’t stick on them…ha ha.

I bought my first leather jacket at the age of 14! Because of the Grease movie! At 19 (photo) I bought one brown jacket of my first paycheck! I had several beautiful pieces, but I was a wild child… and some of them didn’t make it till the end of a Rock concert! ?Glad I am not going out anymore so the black pants I am showing you is 5 years old!

I received this leatherette top in a Stitch Fix box a couple years ago and love it! A leather top is bit out of my style comfort zone but the classic cut makes it easy to wer and I love the bit of edge it adds to an outfit. Thanks for coordinating and have a good week!

I bought this one 3 years ago and I love this one. I wear it in summer to with the collar of! I now see that I wore this dress before. Haha.
