As Tie Dye is a big trend this fall, the title and the theme didn’t take that long to figure out! But I have to be honest, I am sending in a old photo as I don’t have anything Tie Dye! Oeps, I hear a shopping trip coming!
My holiday is over and I am back on blogging. And what better start then to join my beautiful fashion fiends i our monthly series!
Stylish Monday is created out of a Facebook group of Life and Style bloggers. Every month we interpret a theme in our own way, fashionable wise of course. It’s a fun way to be creative with clothing and accessories. And to see how other women interpret a theme chosen by someone else. It is a fabulous fashionable way to create something beautiful with other bloggers.
Wow! We’re falling for Tie Dye!
I had to search deep to find something Tie Dye. You see, I haven’t falling for Tie Dye yet. But I did once, as I found two dresses with this trend.
This was one I bought in Brighton at Primark. It was a good summer dress to wear around my house, but I didn’t like the print that much.
I loved the colors of this one a lot! But it was made of linen and I hate the creases that linen makes. So I only wore this dress one season.
And now please admire my dear friends!
Shelbee of Shelbee On the Edge
I found this tie dye kimono at Torrid a few years ago and I definitely do not give it enough air time. Just love the tie dye pattern on it and the fun fringe details and it is the perfect layering piece for this time of year.
I have worn it with jeans and shorts as well, but I think I prefer it with a cute little black dress and sandals.
Andrea of Pearls and Pantsuits
I am loving the tie-dye trend for fall! My orange and blue tie-dye top is actually a dress – I’ve knotted it and styled it with jeans just for fun.
Check out my blog post to see how I styled it as a dress, along with more cute tie-dye pieces, and how I’ve styled them for the fall season. I love to play with my clothes, especially when it’s something as versatile as this!
Emma Style Splash
I bought this skirt years ago, and while I love it, I find it difficult to style so have only worn it a few times. This theme gave me the impetus to dig it out and give it another chance. I’ve paired it with a sweater with a cute pearl-embellished collar that I bought in a charity shop.
Nicole of High Latitude Style
Traditionally, tie-dye is associated with the heat of summer and outdoor festivals. However, tie-dyed scarves can also look great in fall and winter as my look demonstrates.
Ada of Elegance and Mommyhood
Not all tie dye is made the same. Those bright super neon tie dyes are not for me. But give me a cozy, light as air white tee dipped in baby blue and baby pink and we are talking!! It looks like a gorgeous skyline.
Fall temperatures have definitely arrived in Michigan so I wore mine with a Faux Leather Black Moto Jacket. Perfect yin+yang between the softness of the girly tee and the rocker edginess of the jacket. Both pieces are by Hollister and they are current!

Would really appreciate it if you would share my photos on Pinterest.
And let’s start the linkup party now!
Ohhh you look gorgeous in this house ? dress. I like you wearing a hat.

It was just for fun, I never wear hats! Thanks Tina!

Thanks Kathrine!
I do not have much tie dye but it is fun to see all of the different styles. My friend actually just gave me a tie dye skirt that has fall colors so I think I am really going to enjoy it with sweaters this fall.

Oh my, now that you mention it….I do have a tie dye skirt for fall!! How could I have forgotten about it!
I am not a tie dye print fan ether, but I just bought my second shirt with this print (trends, trends, trends…). I love how you styled the white-blue dress. You look very elegant!

Haha, I know, we love it when we get used to it!
Nancy, I love both of your tie dye dresses! The navy sun dress is totally something I would wear around the house as well. And wrinkled linen would drive me crazy, too. But that shirt dress is super cute! Thanks so much for inviting me to join this wonderful group! This was fun.

Thanks Jodie! You can wear them all year round, as in my head tie dye is a summer thing!
I don’t have any tye-dye clothes and think by the time I get round to wanting something it will be out of fashion! I love the first dress also the colour and print. Like you… I don’t like to wear linen because of the creases!

I can’t picture you in tie dye either! Thanks Yvonne!
Welcome back Nancy! was going to comment that I don’t have anything tie-dye, but then I read that you don’t either, and that you sent in an old photo. I’m on the fence about tie-dye: it can be very beautiful and effective when well done, but there’s a lot of shoddy tie-dye out there as well. That linen dress has got the most fabulous print, but I’m definitely hearing you on the creasing! xxx
Author
Thanks Ann! Yes I loved the colors of that one a lot, but those creasing! No, it looks to shabby for my liking.
Wow, such nice tie dye looks. I’m kind of surprised you don’t have any currently. Your former looks are very nice, I really like all of the colors in your 2nd dress. Welcome back!
Author
Perhaps I wore it to much as a child!! Lol. Thanks Kim, that is so kind of you!
That linen tie dye in particular was lovely, but I can see why you didn’t keep it. I’m not at all tolerant of wrinkly items. I have just one tie-dye dress myself. I do like it, but maybe not as much as a good tropical print.
Glad you’re back!

Oh thanks Michelle, I appreciate that! I thought you would like tie dye!
Your tie-dye dress reminds me of one I included in my tie-dye post a while ago, Nancy!! iIlike tie-dye but I have to be in the right frame of mind to choose a piece to wear! All the ladies look super cute in their tie-dye outfits.
Happy Monday.

Exactly how you said it, have to be in the right frame!
I find tie-dye way too casual for my personal style, but I want to try doing it myself (like on a pair of white jeans) to see what I can do with it.
Thank you so much for the link-up, Nancy! I posted my leopard suit, just for you. ;-P

Haven’t even seen it!! Going to look now! Just for me….Oh you are the best!
This tie dye trend is so fun! Looks good on you!

Thank you!
I am so glad to collaborate with you once again dear Nancy. I happen to love both of your tie dye dresses. You are hard though, linen can be quite messy when it comes to wrinkles lol.
P.S. Did you receive my e-mail about the wedding post collab?! Get back to me please. Thank you. =)

Yes I did Ada, but I was on a vacation then. I am catching up on my mails, but I haven’t forgotten yours! Thanks love!
I love that navy tie dyed dress; though i am not normally one to wear tie dye. I do have an old tie dye shirt that I wear whenever I’m painting. Thanks for linking up with us at Encouraging Hearts and Home. Pinned.
