In these dark, strange, scary and very unusual times, it’s important to look at the bright side. Trying to be positive. Staying saint around the globe if you please. And what do we do to stay saint! We have more time on our hands now, so what new hobbies or activities do we take on.
Stylish Monday is created out of a Facebook group of Life and Style bloggers. Every month we interpret a theme in our own way, fashionable wise of course. It’s a fun way to be creative with clothing and accessories. And to see how other women interpret a theme chosen by someone else. It is a fabulous fashionable way to create something beautiful with other bloggers.
How we are staying saint around the globe
I am in self isolation now for three weeks and I really hate not seeing my friends and family. But I am so happy that it is warm enough, 10 degrees celcius but with the sun it feels warm enough, to sit outside and read! That really relaxes me. And it gets warmer this weekend! Yeah, I feel happy!

It’s easy to become overwhelmed and stressed out as the pandemic quarantine continues on (and on)…I’m sharing how my husband and I are weathering the storm, and managing to stay joyful during the confinement; along with some favorite new discoveries!

Here in California, we’ve been under a Shelter-In-Home mandate for 3 weeks now – with another entire month (at least) to go. One of the many things I’ve learned over the past few weeks is the longer you live together under one roof, “me time” becomes crucial.
This week, I decided to give myself a “Spa Like” Manicure and Pedicure. I can’t remember the last time I did my own nails, but my nails were in bad shape and I was in desperate need of some quiet time. I’m happy to say, the hour spent at my “home spa” was just what I needed to recharge, and lift my mood.

How do you stay saint in your part of the world?
Let us know and lets have some fun now and start the party!
Nancy, you are so lucky to have sunshine right now. It’s raining like crazy here (which is unusual – yet a blessing in disguise). I’m hoping to see some sun starting later next week. Then, Like you, I will be outside reading and taking in Vitamin D!
Hugs and be safe!

Oh that makes the world even more grey! I really hope you can enjoy the sun later the week! Thanks Suzanne!
Maybe it should be – staying saint and sane. o) It is nice that we can share our experiences from around the globe. It makes everything more bearable to know how other people are coping with the situation.

We’ve been enjoying the sunshine and getting outdoors to exercise as much as we can. Not only healthy for the body but for the mind too. Very thankful for that opportunity!

I think it’s very healthy for the mind. I can much better relax in the sun with a good book!
Your skirt looks lovely, professional and comfy. Great look.
Interesting how things are so different and so the same around the world. Loved this collaboration.

Yes that is indeed interesting. Thanks Nicole!
I admire your positivity Nancy! It’s a great help that we have sunshine, as I really cannot imagine how it would be in the grey weather we had earlier this year! Take care, and enjoy the upcoming warmer temperatures! I will hurry them along your way as it has already warmed up here! xxx

Haha, yes thanks! I’ve got it! Going to enjoy it with a good book!
I can’t wait to see the sun again, Nancy. Tomorrow and Wednesday are supposed to be sunny and summery. I think we’re all ready for a bit of that. I love everything about your look….the striped shirt and the pleated skirt and perfect together (and with that gorgeous jacket) and I love your boots! I still have to go into my office to work (there are only 3 of us here today) but it’s slow enough that I’ll be taking a day off here and there and I love the suggestions from everyone. Hopefully with the warmer temperatures will come a fast eradication of this virus (as with flus) but I see even the year-round warm climates are battling it so there may not be much hope of that. Stay healthy and safe!

Yes indeed, Spain temperatures aren’t helping that much! But we have to make the most of it! Thank you very much!
Glad you are getting out in the sun! I hope we are soon back to our normal lives, I want to see my mom, she is all alone and must be so lonely!

I am envious of your sun, Nancy! I’m hoping it will be warm enough for me to go out on my enclosed deck soon!
I’ve been staying sane by doing weekend silliness theme weeks with my husband and cat! Enjoy our take on “Men In Black” as we save the universe!

Haha, yes and board games of course!
Nancy,
I am happy to see you outdoors enjoying the sunshine and reading!
I think the spring blossoms and warmer weather is so helping so many people cope with the pandemic.
Stay safe my friend.

And just look at bright sides. I like it a lot that Gerben is at home. We can have a very long breakfast that he makes me every day!
The sun helps so much! imagine if all this had started in November. I’m keeping sane by going with the flow, keeping to a routine (work out, work, walk, shopping once or twice a week, blogging).Have a good weekend x

I keep a straight routine too, but not going out the house, well only in my garden that is!
its always fun to see how people around the world style their outfits, but it has been comforting to see how everyone is coping now. You always light up the internet with your beautiful style and attitude.

Oh I feel so honored that you say that! How kind of you, thanks Nina!
