And another mini skirt, a denim mini skirt. And I think it’s so cool. But just like with several outfits, I see myself a little differently than probably others see me. For example with this outfit. Beforehand I thought that this outfit would look great on me and fit very nicely. But when I looked closely at the photos and wanted to edit them, I saw that I am really too thin for leggings, as I already said. And that I always ,,hang,, in my pockets. It always takes me a lot of effort to take photos in this cold, as I get out of breath very quickly. And it shows……oh well, I am not a model right, just plain old Nancy……
Denim mini skirt
Anyway, I thought this denim mini skirt looked very good, haha can you say that about yourself, but the truth is most likely different. Still, I just wear what I feel comfortable in and what I like. And if it makes me feel good then that’s what matters right? But I don’t want to look like a fool either.
So why is it that every time I put the photos on the blog, I think, this should have been different, this could have been better, etc. etc. The fact is that what you see on the blog is how I wear it. So like these leggings. I think it looks really ugly actually. But the fact is that it is simply way too cold for tights. And the fact is that brown leggings probably would have looked better with brown boots, but I just wanted to wear this jumper.
Sometimes fashion rules are good to follow…..
You have those “rules” that you better stick to if you want to do your best to look as good as possible. For example, the rule: wear a fitted top with wide trousers or a skirt. Yesterday I wore this skirt with an oversized sweater. Very nice in my head, until I looked at myself in the mirror and remembered this rule. Pffff. Then why have I bought so many oversized sweaters this season!! I hardly wear fitted trousers or skirts!!
Well, this denim mini skirt can certainly wear a wider jumper. And now I do have 5 denim items in my closets. Yes readers, don’t fall of your chair, 5! Including my denim jacket that everyone has at least one of right? This denim mini skirt is by Levi’s and is from Vinted. A great platform, and certainly if you want to buy a piece of clothing that you are not really sure of, like for me mini skirts. But I do like it a lot, only not with black leggings!

I don’t think it looks bad with the black leggings, Nancy! It looks like a nice, casual outfit! And it’s so important to stay warm, right?! Personally, I can’t be doing with denim skirts, I find them so uncomfortable and they’re always twisting around my waist! Drives me nuts lol. But they do look good….just not on me!

I like this outfit: it makes me want to try my shorter denim skirt with tights and a sweater: I might even do a blog post “inspired by” for February.
