Don’t we all hate grey winter days, but don’t we love a grey outfit? Whether it’s a monochrome one or just a single grey item. And it is a colour that perfectly suits any other colour! Do you need some inspiration for wearig something grey? Take a look at these greyness of grey outfits!
Shelbee of Shelbee On the Edge and myself started this series in February 2018, but we had been working together a year previous. So you can say we really like to host these series! Every 15th of the month we show our Good Buy or Good-Bye item. And we want you to join us. The more the merrier!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?
It is a collage of outfits from all different women! You can choose yourself whether you want to show a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye ( which is an item you are going to say good bye to). We’ll keep buying a Bad Buy from now and then, you know, it was so cheap, you were in a hurry and really wanted(needed) to buy something etc.
But of course we also have those purchases that can make us so very happy. A piece of clothing that you have had for years and that you wear a lot. Or something you bought on a holiday, and every time you wear it you get that holiday feeling back. Every month you can choose which item you want to send in. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide a theme for each month!
So let’s start with The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Greyness of Grey!

I bought this big gray blanket scarf years ago and it has been keeping me cozy ever since. It is neutral in color and style so it goes with everything regardless of my fashion aesthetic. Definitely a Good Buy!

My Good Buy Grey item is a two for one. A pair of suede heels that I absolutely adore. They are so stylish and bring out some classic silhouette. The second item is a dark grey cashmere jumper. I just love the soft material and how it can go from casual to dressy for any occasion.

I don’t wear a ton of grey, but I have always loved this 3-D flower t-shirt and recently found it more versatile by styling a lace shirt under it.

How could I not do a grey good buy? Grey is one of my favorite colors during the winter. This is a grey skirt I bought recently. I can’t wait to wear it with lots of other things!
And here is my greyness of grey
The blazer and trousers are new and I am very happy with them. I like my blazers fitted and my trousers a bit baggy. The bow jumper is so lovely and a few years old, I love bow blouses and jumpers, love them in jewelry too. At first I wanted to add red ankle boots and bracelet, but thought that green was way much better! So in love with this look! And it were all Good Buys!

Not a bad buy here!! Glad you went with the green boots over the red. I think that is a more unexpected color combination and so perfect. I just love your aesthetic – word I can’t spell. I get an Annie Hall vibe from many of your great looks. Especially the baggy trousers and blazers. Just perfection.
Love that a lot of the gals pulled out pieces that needed a little love and styled them. I hope everyone keeps their gray. Joanne’s dress is wow with the scarf and tights. Love the lace layer under Jodie’s 3D tee. And Di and Marsha look lovely. That Shelbee can style anything!! She is so clever – using that soft blanket scarf in a variety of looks.
